Do you have the right size bobbin? And is your casing inserted the correct way and in the right position? Sometimes, if you have the wrong size bobbin it will cause this, remember not all bobbins fit all machines. Be sure you use the ones that your manufacturer recommends, or you can cause internal damage

The bobbin thread will not raise. The bobbin and holder falls out every time

Difficult to help without knowing the make & model.

If the bobbin case falls out, then it is not latched into place. Most bobbin cases have a spring loaded latch that needs to be held open until the bobbin case is firmly seated in the machine. Then the latch is released which locks it in place.

After I sew I can pull the bottom stitching right out. What causes this? Help

The problem is most likely thread tension. First try loosening the upper thread tension (numbered wheel on left side of most machines), if this doesn't rectify the problem then check the bobbin case tension. Correct bobbin case tension can be verified by holding the bobbin case with bobbin inserted and thread extended several inches. If you grasp the thread the bobbin case should not descend rapidly (fall) but should unspool slightly when thread is quickly tugged upward. When I try to sew, the bobbin bangs around, like it doesn't fit.

Is it the bobbin or the bobbin case that is banging around? If I don't seat my bobbin case properly, it rattles and eventually falls out. Your bobbin case may be damaged, in which case, the bobbin is not going to fit properly. I dropped and stepped on my bobbin case once and the machine had the same symptoms. Then there's the obvious answer, a wrong size bobbin got mixed up with your bobbins. I've had that happen when I've taken a class with others. We all share tools and sometimes the right ones don't get back to their proper owner.

On sewing a normal seam, the bottom piece of material becomes puckered

From what you describe, it sounds like you have your bobbin tension a bit too tight. Take the bobbin case out of the machine and hold it up by the thread. The bobbin case should move down slightly when you give it a slight ****. If the bobbin case doesn't move much it is too tight and if the bobbin case falls into your hand it's too loose.

While sewing the bobbin case moves, wheel locks up, needle locks

Im not sure if this will help but thought I would pass it along. My Pfaff 6122 tells me to check bobbin for thread unrolling clockwise before you place it back in the machine. I had mine turned to un roll counter clockwise, this is wrong, the bobbin will fall out when you pull on the thread while you are holding it in your hand. You may just keep putting it in backwards. Hope this works for you. J.R.

Bobbin case.......

A bobbin case for accommodating a bobbin which has a shaft portion and a collar portion formed on both sides of the shaft portion on which a thread is wound, the bobbin case comprises: an opening being opened on at least one side of an axial direction of the shaft portion, for detachably accommodating the bobbin; a thread take-up portion provided in the axial direction opposite to the opening, for pulling out the thread of the bobbin; and a holding member which makes contact with the bobbin and nonrotatably holds the bobbin.
