e-machines are only a brand-name Of computer.
If you have a close look at your motherboard, and find the board number ( sometimes by the Ram Slots ) and with e-machines theres usually a piece of paper with a number on.
I,ll assume that your board is Foxconn. Your better off going to Foxconns site, and downloading the drivers from there. The drivers your missing are Base-system drivers. If you Have A VIA Chipset on the motherboard. You,ll probably download The VIA 4 in 1 driver, this should solve your problems.
Alternatively, if you,ve installed Windows XP, ensure you have SP2 And SP3 installed Also.
I have lost Foxconn Utility CD for my motherboardPC 915M12-GL-GLS and now when I Reinstalled Windows I have no sound. So would you please give me a link where I can download this UtilityCDdrivers? Or for sound at least. And if you have such, please send the mon my e-mail: email@example.com
