Viewsonic N3752w LCD TV: plug in, red light goes on, press button and green goes on but then off before any picture; seems dead, no red light or green and nothing happens when press button again. If I unplug, then plug in again later, same process as before. Saw other comments similar to this but no responses. Is this fixable? Worth it? Junk it? Thanks.

We have the same problem with ours. I'm suspecting it's the power supply board. I'm going to order a new one, swap it. That should fix it, I suppose.

My Viewsonic N3752w is not working. First it would not turn off - all of the buttons on the TV, including the power button, would just bring up the start menu. I unplugged the TV, and now it will not...

Leave it unplugged for 10 minutes (normally 1-2 minutes to clear the memory). Try turning it on again via the TV. Can you also turn it on via the remote?

Viewsonic n3752w will not power up when I plug power cord in, but when power light goes green, if I press and hold any of the buttons on top of tv, (Enter, chan up or down, menu, vol up or down) it will...

You may have bad main logic board, http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=n3752

The back light is working for sure, you may want to check if the Power supply on signal goes to 5v when you push the power button.

Hi just got a ViewSonic N3752w 37 in. LCD tv from a friend with a pretty banged up screen. It has several lines in the picture as well as some blackend screen. Any idea of whether it is repair able or how...

It sounds like the LCD panel is badly damaged, if that is the case, it will not be worth it, sceen is the most expensive part of the whole TV, you may be able to sell each parts of the TV on EBAY. Post the pictures of the screen will help.

Have the main power supply checked out first, you only have standby 5v power supply working right now.

When I plug the TV, the green light is ON but no picture no sound

Sounds more like the main power supply problem. You are only getting the the 5v standby voltage.
