Wireless-G WPS54GU2 Print Server Lost disk

I have a Linksys Wireless-G WPS54GU2 Print Server that has been reset. I don't have the installation disk and it doesn't seem to be picking up an address from my dhcp router. Is there a default ip address I can use to get to the configuration page or somplace that I can download the installation program?

If you visit the LinkSys website you should be able to download all applicable drivers and files for this print server. Also you will likely be able to access a user manual (in PDF format) which should give you all the information you need.

Usb light link

HP LaserJet 1022 is a "host-based" printer so it must be connected to a PC. Load the driver on PC first and connect the USB cable when software tells you to do so.

Will not work on a Linksys print server.

LaserJet 1022N & LaserJet 1022NW have "special" HP print servers that can support HP host based printers.

Linksys wireless prnt server

Hi,

Based on your post description, I am assuming that:
1. You can connect to the Internet through your 2241 Neptoia modem;
2. You can access your WRT54G V8 Linksys Wireless router @ 192.168.1.1;
3. Both 1 & 2 above could be done through a wireless connection from your PC.

Connect everything as they are supposed to be wired (printer, Print Server, modem, router etc)

Pls try:
a. Connect the Linksys wireless print server using a lan cable to the Linksys WRT54G Wireless AP/router. (Will tackle the wireless connection a bit later)
b. Reset your print server; &
c. Do a diagnostic print-out.
Instructions for b & c are in page 4 of your manual.

You need to verify that:
i. the Power indicator is contnously green
ii. the Ethernet indicator is contnously green
iii. the USB indicator is contnously green
iv. the Wireless indicator may or may not be contnously green

Pls post back with the generated diagnostic print-out before we can proceed with the other steps.

Additionally, try installing the Epson Stylus Photo RX600 direct to one of the USB ports of your PC. Use the installer/driver CD that came with it. Try using it as a regular printer. This will tell us status of the printer.

Good luck and kind regards.

I have a Linksys WPS54GU2 printserver connected to an Epson CX7800 printer on my home network. When I wirelessly print a multi-page document, the last page does not finish printing and does not eject from...

I'm not sure how you have your server set up, but when I did the initial setup I had to add my printer as a TCP/IP port.
See this link for instructions on how to do that: http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Print-Servers/Installation-of-WPS54G-Print-Server-for-Windows-7/m-p/362651?comm_cc=HSus&comm_lang=en#M6440
The hanging on the last page happens if you don't have LPR byte counting enabled. Go find your printer in the devices and right click. Go to "Printer Properties", then the ports tab. Click "Configure Port", then in the popup dialogue make sure that LPR Byte Counting Enabled is checked.
