Question about Mitsubishi WS-48513 48" Rear Projection Television

Volume problem The volume needs to be turned all the way up to hear anything. When we switch to the dvd player, it is extremely loud & must be turned down quickly before hurting our ears.

If you are using a cable box check to see if there is volume buttons on the box, if so turn the volume up on that first. you should not need to adjust it again unless someone turns it down. some of the cable boxes had volume controls on them for convenience but I have found them to be a nuisance.

Movies will play fine however the music is at normal volume and the voices are very quiet. To hear them you can turn it up but then music is too loud.

This might be your TV many of the SONY and PHILIPS TV's have an Auto Volume control setting that is used to prevent the TV advert music from being too loud compared to the programs try turning this ON and OFF and see if it helps.

My laptop is playing sound at a very low level. All the volume controls are turned up to the max, but I can barely hear anything through the built-in speakers or through earbuds. Toshiba Satellite A101...

Usually what happens hear is that a program such as media player or a dvd player will have its volume turned down and that overides the overall volume.

The trick is finding it. You need to open up any and all programs you have used with some kind of volume control and check they are turned up then close them.

You will never get super loud sound on your speakers but they should be easily heard. I've run across this on both my tosh laptop and a desktop.

How can I turn up the volume? We maxed out the

There maybe a mute button on the remote some where, or else its just the case that these portable dvd players have rubbish speakers built in and they are just not loud... I recommend getting a decent pair of amplified computer speakers and plugging them into the headphone socket. That is what i do!

Very little volume, not very loud at highest

On the TV-use your finger to adjust the volume level, about midway, then use the remote to shut off the tv, then turn on tv with remote. Volume level should be better! If still not loud enough...using your finger on the tv...turn up volume & repeat remote steps.

When this happened to me, I trimmed the wire that came from the speaker to the dvd player. I had to much wire exposed and they were touching behind the machine.
