Pretty simple. Take off the plastic cover, at the front where it staples will be a black metal piece on top of the stapling area. That is the front clip release. Release the staple tray like you would normally with the button and also Push the top black piece back to detach it from the staple tray. It should spring out then. Clean around it with alcohol and keep the cover off. Push it back in place, release it a few more times to make sure it works correctly now, then put the screws back in.

SOURCE: Staples penetrate, but do not bend

If you unscrew 4 bottom screws to lift the top cover, you may find out that there are 2 orange rubbers above its hammer that broke and needs to be replaced.

How do I load the stapler?

No you don't. We answer most things here.

If the stapler is like any of these

You push the back in slightly to unlatch it and then drop it down a bit and the staple pusher comes out completely.

How do I reload staples into a Bostich Electric Stapler E66760? I tried standard staples and they won't seem to fit

RTM. Read the manual. If you didn't keep it, you can Google for one with your make, model and manual in the search box and you should be able to get a .pdf file of the manual which you can save to your computer. You're probably using the wrong size staples.

There could be a piece of a broken staple jammed in the stapling mechanism. I checked mine and there are two screws on the bottom that can be removed to expose the interior. The broken staple jam occurs often with mechanical staplers so the electrics probably have similar failures.

Loading staples

Powershot Pro (Model 8000) Loading staples is pretty much what you would guess,
EXCEPT that releasing the catch takes a very strong pull, or it won't budge at all. Grasp the black plastic catch at the rear of the stapler base, pull very hard (probably 5lbs or more) and the catch will move about 1/4" away from the stapler ("down" if you think of the stapler in its usual orientation.) You can then slide the catch and the spring mechanism "backwards" leaving room to insert staples or brads. (Note, "T-50" staples and brads should fit. If loading brads, they go along the side of the magazine which is closest to the "staples remaining" window.)

We have a Swingline 690 electric stapler in our office. We are unable to get the stapler to work after loading staple cartridge. We followed the directions and made many attempts to load. There does not...

I had the same problem with my 690. This is what worked for me.. I simply pulled out the staples from the cartridge a little further than the suggested tear-off point, and the machine was able to start working. Hope this helps!

Stanley-bostitch B8E E66760 jammed and can not un jam it

i pushed down on the on the cartridge itself and then on the release button. it freed the cartridge and i was able to access the staples themselves. (the tray was full of new staples).
i replaced the cartridge empty, activated the stapler a few times...reopened the tray, reloaded it with the same staples i had removed, and it worked fine.
i found this useless information at the bostitch website:
