Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Go Gear playing order

I've got the Bible saved on my mp3 player. It has the books in order and the chapters appear in order but they end up playing in weird random order. I'd appreciate any solutions!

How do I get my audible books on my sandisk clip sport mp3 player to play in the right order

it could be a filename issue. You could number your tracks in a mp3 tag editor. I suggest mp3tag v.2.5.x for your needs.

How do I add audiobooks from windows media player to coby 300. Coby manager says it on there but coby player tells me no files.

Most audio books are Protected WMA files which this unit does not accept, you would have to convert your audio books to MP3 format for them to play properly on your MP300. Honestly, this unit isnt good for audio books as audio books break up into chapters, this unit has no sort order so your chapters would be out of order.

Can't get the playerto play the chapters in order

You have to delete the affected Audiobooks off the player, then go into Windows Media Player, right-click one chapter at a time, select "Advanced Tag Editor" and manually assign a track number to each chapter -in order.
Then you can reload the audiobook onto the GoGear.

Downloading info from the computer to the Sansa

Here is the link to the full user manual, which will be helpful:

This player will only play eBooks in the loosest sort of way - the ebook MUST be in mp3 format. It will not save chapter bookmarks or play in the right order unless you manually edit the id3 tag for each chapter of the audiobook.

Recording Audio-books

The GoGear says it is compatible with Audiobooks, but only in the loosest sort of way. It has no way of natively playing them in order or keeping your place, etc. Even the GoGear's that have an Audible folder won't work well, b/c the deal between Audible and Philips fell through prior to release - LOL. Your best bet would be to open Windows Media Player, right click each audiobook track, select "Advanced Tag Editor," and manually re-enter the track number for each chapter in the order that you want them to play. Then delete the current audiobook files off the Philips, and then reload the ones that you have just edited. Good luck!

Tracks played in wrong order

The Sony NWZ-S616F (4 GB) sometimes plays the musical tracks out of sequence. To check if the tracks are being played correctly, press the down arrow key ↓ at any time until the name of the book or music is selected. Then press the ► button and the tracks will show up. If they are in wrong order, select track 1 and press ►.
