Hi,

Check if no hydro ( 120 VAC )is getting to the unit. Check all breakers are on and 120VAC getting to control box. Also check if you have a bad start capacitor if so replace it.

Bonaire Vulcan controller cct board 10 amp fuse keeps blowing

Obviously a direct short. Take pic, remove all wires, replace fuse. Wire by wire, turning power back on each time until fuse pops. When it does, there's your problem.

I have a Sauter oven. When I try tuning it on nothing happens. No light,no fan,no heat. The clock display seems OK.I tried pressing the menu button several times.Nothing helps. What can be the solution?

I should suspect the fuse or circuit breaker that is supposed to power the oven if turned off.
It could be nothing more than a power surge from a lightning strike somewhere.
Find the electric box and check it out.
If the fuse or circuit breakers panel is good, remove the oven and check for current at the wiring that goes from the oven to the fuse/circuit breaker box.
If all that tests good, you have a problem with the oven control.
It may be "toasted". (No good)
God bless your efforts.

Auto fan does not start electric furnace

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the furnace won't run, check the electrical service panel for a blown fuse or tripped breaker. Also make sure the power switch on or near the furnace is turned on. Check the unit for a reset button and try it. Some units have a built-in breaker or fuse panel.
If there is not enough heat, raise the thermostat setting five degrees to see if it turns the unit on. If the unit still does not generate enough heat, check the comfort controls . Clean or replace a dirty filter, clean the blower assembly (see the Forced-Air Distribution Fix-It Guide), and make sure that all registers are open and not blocked.
If the furnace turns on and off repeatedly (cycles), clean or replace the filter; and clean the blower assembly (see Forced-Air Distribution Fix-It Guide).
If the furnace is noisy, make sure access panels are mounted and fastened securely; spray squeaking belts with fan-belt dressing and replace worn or damaged belts; adjust the blower belt; lubricate motor and blower oil ports.
If the element does not heat, refer to the Heating Element Fix-It Guide for guidance.

I live in central fl We have a older tempstar electric heating/cooling unit there is power to the indoor part and the heat works. I have power to the inside breaker for the cooling but no power to the...

The outdoor unit should have it's own 220 volt breaker, and on the wall near the outdoor unit should be a disconnect box, some disconnects have breakers, others have just a disconnect bar, and behind the metal plate are fuses.
I would check the breakers at the panel first, make sure that there is 220 volt output, then kill power and go to the disconnect box and if there are fuses, use your meter and make sure that they are good, alot of times, only one fuse will blow and one is good.
This is a good starting point, if this has been helpful, please rate me. And please get back to me if you have any questions that I can help you with.
Sincerely,
Paul Gibson

Dryer problem

i am sending you all the possibilities for your problem, check either of these causes ----and than let me know if it is solved----

Power from the house
Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers--your dryer uses two fuses or circuit breakers. The dryer could tumble but not heat if only one of the two fuses is blown. If you have circuit breakers, one of the two circuit breakers can trip, even if the two for the dryer are connected.

Heating element
Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.

Thermal fuse
On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)

Wiring
A common problem is for the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, to burn and break its connection. Because the dryer can still tumble with partial power, the connection may be only partially defective. You may need to replace both the power cord to the dryer and the terminal block inside the dryer that the wire is attached to.

Unit/control panel completely dead

Check your circuit breaker, "off" and "on" the breaker it my be tripped off. If it wont work may be some fuse blown in the control, or the control itself may be defective.
