Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone

I have heard all the problems about the envy 3 shutting off. Mine will be a year next month. I bought 3 at the same time for my husband and son. The dont use theres to often and are not experiencing the shut off problem, but mine has gottne worse. Mine started just shutting off randomly when it was in not in use i would pick it up and it would be turned off. Now it is happening more and more. I thappen twice yester while i was in the middle of a text. Also i got a watning about the battery being low but it wasnt even really low. I have charged it fully and it still shut off in the middle of the text. I believe the batteries may be bad and I think that verizon or Lg should take care of the customer. I want a new phone or battery.

Sounds like you answered your own question.

With all the problems you are experiencing and the warranty ending soon, this is a good time to contact Verizon for a replacement phone.

In years past, when I experienced problems with a phone, there was very little hassle in customer service. They replaced my phone.

See if they can back up any data you have stored on the phone, if you haven't backed up. They will also replace any games, music, etc. that you have downloaded. They may need a list of them.

    My phone did and still does the same shutting off at random. Verzion would not replace the phone because it was 3months old unless I agreed 2 a reburbished one with the same battery I currently have- we went round and round manager after manager and finally they agreed 2 replace with abrand new phone only catch I would have to start paying for a data package witch I did not currently have due to there policy of data on all new phones in 2010- needless to say I still have my phone and it keeps sutting itself off even after I bought a brand new battery!!

Press Set Time/.Date button and hold down for several seconds. When you let go number - year - will start flashing. Use MEMORY button slowly to correct year. Push Set Time/Date button to set year. Next number will be month - same process. Then date - same process. Then time beginning at midnight using 12 hour clock - same process.

Will it charge in the car from a car charger and did they test it at the store before they gave you a new one. I heard that they have had problems with the new ones having a defect with the chargers. That they had the wrong homechargers in the boxes.

When you install an engine, you don't "line up" gears. It's likely that either you have a worn shift fork or synchro (both inside the transmission).

HT-DB120 - PROTECTION due to shorted output stage


i have the same problem. was playing a cd for my son for about 20 mins. CD started skipping then froze up and shut off. When trying to power on the word "PROTECTION" comes on then shuts right off. Is there any solution for this problem? My husband bought this when it first came out over 6 years ago at $400. I bearly even use it. It's a waste to throw away. Please someone help. Thanks.
