This is either a T-con board fault or a Panel fault. I would suggest that you try replacing the t-con first and see if it fixes the problem. If it does not then its probably time for a new tv as the LCD panel replacement is extremely expensive and you can get a new tv for that cost.
If you need further advice(for fixing it yourself) and I will tell you how to do it.

If you're using Firefox as your browser, click on the square with the three horizontal bars in the top right corner of the browser, the menu will open, you'll see 100% in the center of the second row from the top of the drop down window. To make the screen bigger or smaller click on the minus or plus sign to either side of the 100.

Picture size

I found the user manual online, and the pictures in it are really helpful and make this make a lot more sense, but:
1. Press [SCREEN MODE], to switch the TV aspect ratio.
2. Press [SCREEN MODE] repeatedly until the normal screen displays.
NOTE: • Some programs may not offer all display mode options.
4:3 Programming
[Sidebar] Sidebar displays a 4:3 picture at its standard 4:3 size. Sidebars will be displayed on the right and left edges of the screen.
[Full] Full displays a 4:3 picture at a 16:9 size, with horizontal elongation necessary to fill the screen.
[Cinema] Cinema displays a 4:3 picture at a 16:9 size, with less horizontal elongation necessary to fill the screen because a little bit of the top and bottom edge of the screen will be cut off.
[Wide] Wide displays the center of the picture as original size and the outer sides of the picture will be elongated. The size of the picture will depend on the original signal.
16:9 Programming
[Full] A picture is displayed at 16:9 size as it is.
[Zoom] Zoom displays a 16:9 picture without changing its horizontal and vertical ratio, at its maximum size.
[Cinema] Cinema displays a 16:9 picture with vertical elongation.
[Expand] Expand displays a 16:9 picture with horizontal elongation

I have an hfd-135 air purifier but i can't tell if it's 110 or 220 volts.

View the electrical plug.

A 120 Volt plug has two elongated prongs on one side, with a smaller round prong for your ground, on the electrical plug.

A 220 Volt plug has two elongated prongs, but each will be opposing each other in the middle, but tilted towards each other at the top. Also, on a 220 plug, the third prong will not be round, but flat, and in a horizontal position.

Monitor problem

Hi, sandjkroll, this kind of problem could be because of ur monitor or even because of the on board display  card on ur motherboard. To check ur monitor, u unplg display cable which goes to ur cpu and the power cable which goes to ur cpu.
Them connect the power plug to mains, so no cable from the monitor should go to the CPU. Then u swithch on the the poower suply, and on the monitor. I
If ur monitor displays elongated screen still, and shows signal not found, and no display comes that means ur monitor needs to be send for service. and if there are no elongated screen and says no signal found, ur monitors fine, ur motherboad has a problem
