I have an LG Split room air con, HS-C1264F72. I have run it through the night for the last 4 months (normally 7-8 hours at 22C) All of a sudden one night, I was woken to dripping water coming out of the unit. Please help?

No, Im in Malaysia. Daytime normally 32-35, NIght time normally 23-25 celcius. It never really changes. It may of dropped to 20-21 but certainly no lower than that.

There are two problems in your a/c. 1. Smell. 2. over freezing. The solution is 1.service the unit completely. 2. replace the room thermostat sensor. Sometimes, the room sensor may be working alright after servicing the unit. All the best.

LG Split Ac-Sprinkles water in roomafter a while of cooling

first check to make sure that the indoor unit is very slightly off level sloped to the drain area also turn off power and inspect the indoor coil with a flash light to make sure all the fin area is open the drain pan has two possible drain connections if they are both hooked up then the primary "lowest"
could be stoped up a blast of water or air to the drain line should clear out slime also make sure their is a trap in the drain line or the water will only drain dwhen unit is off hope this solves your problem thanks
