Question about WiFlyer - Portable, shareable WiFi base station for dialup and broadband Internet connections (WF1)

1 Answer

Is WiFlyer still in business?

Always On Wireless, the folks that make the Wiflyer, can't be reached. The phone is disconnected and their website links don't work. Does anyone know if this company is still operating?

Always On Wireless is down, that seems to be sure.
For the Accelerator there is a solution:
The software is based on the "SLIPSTREAM" -system. You can use any other accelerator software based on that system. I have found the shareware "Nitro Web Accelerator", which can be downloaded from different shareware-providers. The trial runs 14 days, after that it will cost 30 $.

How to use wifi? bcoz its always unable..

In public WiFi hotspots, there is usually an agreement page that pops-up and leaves a cookie (saying you will stay within the rules.) Go into your browser settings and make sure the security is set to allow 3rd party cookies to be saved on your phone. Then click on a detected network to connect. Now open the browser and click yes to the agreement pop-up and you should be good to go.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa! We would sure appreciate a 4 "thumbs-up" rating for this FREE answer. Happy holidays!

Need manual

f you have forgotten the password, you can reset the WiFlyer to use factory defaults for all settings using the following procedure. leading.gif leading.gif leading.gif 1. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the unit. leading.gif leading.gif 2. Press and hold down the "quick connect" button. leading.gif leading.gif 3. Re-apply power while continuing to hold down the button. leading.gif leading.gif 4. Release the reset button once all 5 lights have come on and the unit has beeped 3 times. leading.gif leading.gif 5. If unit does not beep (volume off), wait for the lights to start coming on a second time before releasing the quick connect button (about 12 seconds). leading.gif leading.gif Note:
Resetting to factory defaults will remove any custom configuration, including access numbers, that you have entered and you will need to configure the base station again.
