Hi, one of the reclining buttons of my Bugaboo Frog is stuck. When I push on the white round button, nothing happens. What can I do to fix it? Regards, Helen

The white buttons on the adaptors should just push in and then you lift off. If it's stuck try using some silicon spray and brute force.

To fix it yourself, you need to disassemble the buttons, which can be done with two screwdrivers one a thin slot type the other a phillips. Here's the process: 1. Behind the white button is a screw. Remove it using a phillips screwdriver. 2. You'll now have a black housing with a white button held in by three white tabs. 3. Free the white button from the housing by pressing inwards on each of the three tabs with the slot type screwdriver. 4. You'll now have a black base, a spring and a white button. 5. Sand the circumference of the white button evenly until it slips easily in and out of the black surround. A little silicon spray is a good idea. 6.Reassemble and repeat for the other side. hi there if you find the white buttons sticking try getting sand paper and rub it around the button that will make it slighty smaller, and it may help otherwise you may need to change the white buttons visit www.buggypitstop.co.uk

we had the same problem. spoke to bugaboo and they sent a new bit. think the spring goes inside. easily fixed with the new bit.

Email to bugaboo to describe your problem they will ask for the serial number of the pram and your address & send you a repair kit (new white buttons) - for free!

I would suggest that you return this for a repair to your retailer, if this is in warranty (2 years).
If not, you can dismember the white (retangle) buttons quite easily to enable the release of the seat frame,. On each button there is a small clip either side that you have to push in together. Inside each button is a spring, just make sure that you keep the spring for when you have put it back together. It does sound like the spring has just become dislodged.

take off the basinette or seat

then, there are 2 knob, sticking out of the sides of the frame, about 6 inches below the handle, from the normal pushing position, hook yr fingers round them and slide them up the frame towards the handle

the handle will drop, then just up the frame from the cross bar under where the set is.

easy once you know how

if it still don't work, go to your local park and accost the nearest person with a bugaboo and ask for some help - there'll be hundreds of them!
