Recently I have noticed a red light on in the light display in the center bottom half of the laptop. I never noticed this light before; usually I only detected the right side lit up and it displayed a blue light.
By looking at this image, can you identify if it's the power status light? If it is, then don't use the laptop until you've had the battery checked out:

With most flat panel TVs, the TV turn itself OFF when it has a fail electronic part and the red light starts flashing. They call this "Protection Mode". The flashing red light should be a error trouble code.
But, it's weird that everything is working and the red light is flashing. Since you just recently bought the TV, I would get it check out while it's still under warranty. Better safe, than sorry.
hi, not good news it`s probably a burn in on your red crt (picture tube), tv has to have back completely removed, which means top and bottom covers, (carefull with the top cover it`s heavier than u think, has mirror bolted to inside), turn on tv just long enough to light up all 3 crt`s to identify the red one, turn set off & look into red lens,(may need flashlight) if you see any black specks in center of tube it`s burnt and has to be replaced, be advised u will see gnats, ect. inside but your looking for specific speck, if no visible burn mark have tv man come out, otherwise it`s very pricey, hope this helps and not crt, video-tek
This is Most likely a small crack in the screen the color is actually from the plasma it cant be fixed by yourself but i would reccomend checking the warranty or try taking it back
Hello My Dell Vostro Laptop Display Not Working Correctly it showing Dim but in other desktop when i connect to the Laptop Of Mine it showing Correctly With No Dim Problems? How can I fix the Problem?
I had the same happen to me.. it started with one white vertical line.. then got the whole rainbow (red, green, blue).. Solution: Try connecting an external monitor.. if there is no problems, then it's not the video card or chipset.. it's going to be the lcd.. you can get it on ebay for about $200.. hope this helps..

First of all you need to find out which CRT leaked and replace it before any other repairs are done. The clear liquid is conductive and has done damage to the CRT board or boards.
