Acer 26 inch screen turning pink???

at first i had to keep powering on and off by unpluggin ,to get screen to come up somtimes it did but remote options wouldnt wrk so hve to poer off again, now screen is turning pink or red, should i write it off and never buy anther acer or is this an easy fix. only had tv for 4 years tks
