Question about Dell 1815dn All-In-One Laser Printer
There is a good chance it is the fuser drive assembly. If the sound comes from near the rear of the machine you should try replacing this part (part# D1815-W3). It is not very uncommon for these to go bad causing your printer to be noisy or jam at the fuser. Iteminc.com has these in stock and can ship same day.
