On this model, there should be a spring on the arm. Compress the spring and put the staples in. When you close it, the metal part on the end of the spring holds the staples tight.

See that shiny steel saddle-looking clip at the "rear" (under your palm when you're using the gun) next to the bottom? Push it inward then down to unlatch it, then pull it straight out. Insert 12mm staples, push that thing back in and latch it again. It SHOULD be a little hard to push it - the long spring is what feeds staples up to the punch piston at the front.

How do i open the stanley tr110 staple gun to load the staples

Angelbabie...Like most things, it's pretty easy if you know how.

1.Release the loading latch located on the back end of the staple gun by pinching it with your thumb in a downward motion. This will release the catch and allow you to pull the loading slide out.

2.Hold the gun upside down (so the staple don't fall out) and place a stick of staples in the bottom of the channel which will be exposed once you pull back the loading slide.

3.Push the slide back in and make sure the latch is engaged. All good to go!

Happy stapling.

Piece of staple stuck in the trigger section of arrow t-50p

First, remove the magazine pusher / spring and any staples loaded in the magazine.  Then try firing the gun to clear the staple.  Use a small jeweler's screwdriver and small needle nose pliers to get the staple out.  Reload and test.       These are relatively inexpensive staple guns.  If the problem persists it might be less trouble to replace the gun.     Best of luck and I hope this solution works for you.   Michael Mittelsdorf
