You can just restart your windows and Press F8 when it was booting. It wil prompt for Some options, Choose Safe Mode. Now you would be able to login. You can Simply Uninstal the AIM from here then restart it again.
It will work.,

Windows is corrupted, most likely when you installed AIM it has wiped a very important file.
The only way to fix that for sure is to reinstall. And later install Miranda , instead of AIM, you don't want this happening again.

Sound in safe mode

The whole point of Safe Mode is to disable all unnecessary (non-critical) drivers, so that if one of them is causing the problem, you will be able to fix it. The sound driver is not crucial to the basic operation of Windows.

As for the restarts, click Start > Run, type "sysdm.cpl", go to the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery, and uncheck "Automatically restart". Start your computer in normal mode; you should get a blue screen instead of a restart. The file name on the blue screen will help you identify the problem that initially causes the error.
