How do I repair a non-functioning solution trigger

The trigger has tabs on each side that snap into slots in the handle so that the trigger pivots in the slots. The slots where the trigger pivots may have broken, if so the trigger will not push the valve open and allow the water flow. If the tabs are broken you will need to replace the upper handle. If you supply me with your model number I will determine the proper part for your model.

Ryobi hammer drill cuts out

This is usually indicative of a broken wire in the cord near the handle. Plug the tool in, hold the trigger on and pull the cord in different directions near the handle. If it cuts off & on, one or more of the wires in the cord are broken and it should be replaced.

When i pull the trigger the gun will not activate the battery is fully charged

A wire has come off the connection between the battery & the trigger or connections the triger & the motor, maybe (Blue & Yellow)

Use a philips screwdriver to undo the screws. The plactic covers will come apart. Best to lift only one side. Be careful when doing this & take note of where the cogs fit into the covers when you lift it. If there is a speed change swich on the top of the drill make sure you know which direction it was swiched to. (1 or 2) This is only a machanical swich but it can be a ****** if you move it & don't put it back in the right place. On some models only the handle will come apart, if so, you are in luck.

When you have it apart have a look at the wireing & find the one that has come adrift. It will be where the wire connects to something. Solder it back on. Don't mix the wireing up. There will be a Red Wire going to the Positive side & a Black wire going to the Negative side.

It's not rocket science. Anyone can do it, with a little care.

The fast idle button on my Poulan 2050 is stuck down all the time. I assume it should pop up and lock into place when depressed. I can get a total replacement part, with pins, no problem. How do I...

The trigger and lock out lever comes as a kit, part no. 530071305, remove the top cover, depress the trigger and pry up the throttle wire away from the trigger, knock out the two roll pins, drop the trigger out of the bottom of the handle, lift the throttle lock out of the top of the handle.

How do i calibrate the scotts speedygreen 2000

Your SpeedyGreen 2000 Rotary Spreader spreader was calibrated at the factory. However, a spreader's calibration may change or slip during periods of frequent or heavy use.
You may check the calibration by using the following directions. First, adjust your micrometer setting to 2. Squeeze the trigger against the handle. The calibration line is a small, raised line embossed on the top of the spreader's shut-off plate. With the micrometer set at 2 and the trigger squeezed against the handle, the calibration line should be aligned with the back edge of the hopper opening.
To adjust the alignment, use a small wrench to turn the black calibration screw at the lower end of the control wire leading from the micrometer rate setting barrel. Adjust the screw until the calibration line and back edge of the hopper meet. If you have any difficulty checking the calibration, contact us and we will be happy to help walk you through the adjustment.
When you are not pulling on the trigger handle, the cable should be loose. When you pull on the handle, the cable becomes taut and the shutoff plate slides open.
If you have any additional questions feel free to contact Scotts directly @ 1-800-543-8873

The engine idles way too fast and will not correct with the sow speed adjustment

Make sure that you are adjusting the idle speed screw, not the idle jet screw (L). If you are adjusting the proper screw, then it is possible that the throttle trigger assembly in the handle has a load of sawdust/dirt that blocks proper return to idle. Take the handle apart carefully, and make notes on how the parts go back together. Check at the carburetor throttle assembly to make sure the throttle arm returns fully to the idle speed screw when the trigger is pulled and released slowly. Check the throttle spring as well to make sure it is undamaged. Hope this helps!

My pcn 4545 chainsaw has started to over rev upon starting. The idle adjusting screw is backed off all the way and not the cause of the problem. Can you please tell me how can this be corrected and...

Remove the air cleaner and watch the throttle arm on the carburetor while operating the throttle trigger--suspect that the trigger assembly has acquired sawdust and dirt sufficient to limit proper travel of the trigger mechanism. Careful notes as you dis-assemble the trigger will help get it back together properly. There is little except proper maintenance to prevent debris accumulation in the trigger mechanism. Note: air leakage behind the carburetor can also cause high idle speeds--make sure the carburetor is fastened securely and that there are no flaws in the gaskets and heat insulator located behind the carburetor. Hope this helps!

325 X-L trimmer throttle doe not operate.

There should be a small recessed area off to one side inside the handle for the routing of the throttle cable...Look closely. The spring that controls the return on the trigger isn't too complicated either. It has to be held in place somehere on the throttle handle also and may have to be preloaded so there is tension on it when you install it..Look around closely in the area in the handle RIGHT above the trigger.

Power head handle wiring

That wire goes just above where the trigger is, take the trigger out and there is a slot that the end goes into.
