You may have burned up the motor's starter windings. About the time it eases up to speed, the motor overheats, and shuts off. Five or so minutes later, the overheat switch resets and it attempts to start the spin cycle over.
Owner's manual no manual? Try MFG website or email their customer service, or try
Warranty still valid? try that, Also could be a
"hidden" recall. But the MFG definitely needs to know about these kind of problems.
Push the pause/cancel button twice to clear your message. Then run through a rinse/spin cycle. Next try a normal load without any detergent. SUDS is usually from too much detergent. If this fails, checked the hose for kinks. Check connections and if all that fails, you will probably have to replace the pump. Good Luck!
I've had so much issue with this washer since I've own it and it hasn't even been a year..I just finished fixing the same issue you have with your washer. I had to drain the washer which you were right very messy. My problem was one of the wire came lose. Of course it was from the water pump that was attached to the tub...Who would design something like that.
I have a Kenmore Elite he4t front load washer that was working fine and then we moved and now it stops washing midstream and flashes an F and a H. I have to pause and restart then it will stop washing again after a few minutes and flash the same codes again. I reset again and then it stops with 1 minute left and will not drain.
Timer is defective. Your unit has a netural drain. When finished agitating, the shuts down and then starts up reversing to drain and spin. On the initial reverse start, the water drains without the transmission spinning. After a timed period 3-4 minutes, the timer is supposed to pause, stopping the motor for a few seconds. When the motor stops again, the transmission shift to the spin cycle and when the timer resumes power tothe motor it should spin. You are doing the same thing when you lift the lid...stopping the timer and then the tranny shifts and when you set the lid down, the washer spins. Replace the timer.......
Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
have they checked the door lid switch?..it could be intermittent also because if the switch is not close, it would not drain and spin anymore. try to bypass the switch temporarily by shorting it out then use it . becarefull because you can now open the door while it is spinning ad it is very dangerous.
