If this is the first time you've set up the Wii, then the system needs to be plugged into the wall in a very specific way, which involves plugging it in for a few seconds, unplugging it for a few seconds, then plugging it back in and starting it up. Check your user manual for the exact timing, it should be listed under the initial startup procedures.

The wii disc is not coming out no matter how hard i try.

Please try the following:

1. Make sure the Nintendo Wii is powered off unplug AC power cord from the wall.
2. Wait 5 minutes, then plug the power cord back to the wall
3. Press the Power button on the front of Nintendo Wii.
4. Try to eject the disc

If your disc does not eject, call Nintendo support at 1-800-255-3700 as your system may need to be sent in for repair.

My wii console won't turn on

Sounds like it overloaded the Wiis power supply when the power went back on. You should call Nintendo to try and have it looked at under warranty. How old is your Wii? Did you have a surge protector plugged in at the time?

A new Wii bought from the US was plugged into a 220 V power source. The Wii would not operate. How do we get it fixed. Am in Pampanga, Philippines

If you haven't already you might want to try buying a plug that is for the Wii from a local store. it should only cost a couplpe of dollars. The US power supply is only capable of using 120 volt power source. By buying a power supply from the local store it should not matter where the main system is from because the power supply regulates the input power down to the required power that is ment for the game console.

Hooking up the rock band to a wii console

You plug the hub into the back of the wii, and then plug the guitar (and mic) into the hub. If you just want to use the guitar, it doesn't matter if you use the hub or not. The hub is pretty much just to make life easier because there are only two ports and rock band requires at least those 2.

Power Outage & Now Wii Won't Power Up...

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

Trying to hook up the internet

Your internet connection should plug into your modem, and the modem should plug into your router. Plug any computers you use directly into the router. If it's a wireless router, it's just a matter of going into the Wii and entering the settings for your wireless router.

Does this help?
