How do I reload staples into my Xerox WorkCentre 7530?

You did not indicate finisher? Xerox MFPs' come with the most finishing options of any manufacturer.... I included instructions for all of them below. Enjoy!
Solution : Load Staples in the Professional Finisher With Booklet Maker The stapler in the booklet maker uses two Staple Cartridges labeled R2 and R3. Booklet stapling requires that both Staple Cartridges be free of jammed staples.
WARNING: Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
  1. Make sure the printer has stopped copying or printing.
  2. Open the Finisher Front Door.

  3. Squeeze the orange R2 and R3 levers together and pull the Staple Cartridge unit out of the Finisher until it stops.

NOTE: The Staple Cartridge unit does not detach from the Finisher.

Sc 990

SC 990 means that the hard drive for the finisher is not working correctly. You will need to replace the hard drive on the rear of the copier > it is used when the finisher is being used. I had one that always showed up even after replacing the HD > I finally, took the finisher off and that was the end of it.... It is time for a new copier..... Good Luck

What is a finisher

A finisher is also called a sorter. In the days of analog copiers they were more important because of the way the copy process was but not so much in the days of digital copiers.

The finisher in the days of analog copiers is what allowed you to make multiple sets of a document and have them come out (sorted also called colated) page one through one hundred or however many pages were in the document. In today's digital world a copier can do that with out a finisher.

So why would anyone need a finisher know you must ask; well a finisher can also be used to staple or 2 and 3 hole punch your documents depending on the finisher you purchase.

I hope this was helpful,
Shawn

The display says that the finisher is out of service, what should I do?

Shut the machine off, unplug the finisher from the copier, then plug it back in. Make sure the finisher is securely attached to the machine, then turn the machine back on. If that doesn't work, remove the finisher completely and use the machine without. Call a service technician to diagnose your finisher problem.

1183

I am assuming you have a finisher attached to the left side of the machine as this code deals with the finisher. Specifically the C1183 code means there is a problem with the elevator lift motor. Check the trays on the finisher and make sure they are fully inserted in the finisher. Turn the machine off then back on again. If the code returns you will need to contact a service company as there is a drive problem in the finisher.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Finisher door closure switch/sensor not working.

Have you tried to turn the copier OFF and unplug the finisher and turn the copier back ON with out the finisher pluged IN. If it works just don't use the finisher. I believe that model is rather old and you may have a problem finding parts for it, there are a lot of different reasons for the door not being showed closed. Good Luck

Can not get the output tray to use the finishing tray.

Do you mean you have internal finisher? Try to make any copy with staple it should comes out from there, if not you have to go to machine setting or copy setting , you do this by pressing menu buttom, and change the output paper to the internal finisher.

Let me know wat happen after.

Paper jams at finisher when making multiple copies. Using 20 lb. paper. Any suggestions? Copier is Panasonic Workio DP-4510 with detached finisher.

first try to eliminate the finisher. turn off main power switch and unplug from the power outlet. Now unplug the finisher cable from the rear of the copier, then slide the finisher out of the way. Check to see if you still are having jamming issues. if not then yes the issue is with the exit of the paper or the finisher.
Many possibilities try to narrow it down.
Good Luck

Printing with just finish cartridge

You need to print it in spot colour mode.

Click Click File-> Print, and when the print dialogue pops up, click Properties. In the printer driver dialogue that opens select Spot Colour, click the Spot Colour button, select Finish (Glossy Finish) and print.
