Generally, if the gel stain is water based, use a water based finish. If it is oil based, use an oil based finish.

If you are going to use oil over water, read directions to determine waiting time between applications.

Also determine your finish by the type of surface that you stained, and the look you want to achieve.

My canon ir3100cn displays "finisher can not be used" with on screen. i'm using saddle Q2 finisher. it doesn't move at all.

if the teak is bare teak --- a light sanding with a sanding block should be good and then follow that with a good rub down of teak oil ( sea-fin teak oil is a good brand ).
if the teak is finished teak --- and you want to remove the old finish and sand out any stains(?) then you will need to use a more aggressive sand paper and finish off with a lighter sand paper,, clean up with acetone, use a good tack cloth and start applying varnish -- the best varnish that I have ever used is a brand called ' Epiphanes ' and you will either want to use a ' matte ' finish or a ' gloss /semi-gloss ' finish. personally I have found the 'matte ' finish to look better and it brings out the true beauty of the teak itself. ( make sure you follow the sanding instructions between coats as this will give you a nice smooth and sharp look ).

Shut the machine off, unplug the finisher from the copier, then plug it back in. Make sure the finisher is securely attached to the machine, then turn the machine back on. If that doesn't work, remove the finisher completely and use the machine without. Call a service technician to diagnose your finisher problem.

(fn) stands for finish nail,,, and there are different types of those,, this hitachi will use 15 guage, angle finish nails,, do not attempt to put 16 gauage strait or 16 guage angle nails in this gun,

Do you mean you have internal finisher? Try to make any copy with staple it should comes out from there, if not you have to go to machine setting or copy setting , you do this by pressing menu buttom, and change the output paper to the internal finisher.

77-2 is a finisher prob..Make sure nothing is under the finisher like a small trash can preventing the finisher from moving up/down.Turn off then on,if prob. still there remove finisher by pressing a pen/pencil in small hole inside finisher door and pull fin. towards you. This will let you use copier until service rep. gets there.

You need to print it in spot colour mode.

Click Click File-> Print, and when the print dialogue pops up, click Properties. In the printer driver dialogue that opens select Spot Colour, click the Spot Colour button, select Finish (Glossy Finish) and print.
