Hi, my name is John. Take the cover off the radio. You will need a soldering iron and solder. You can purchase at Radio Shack. Plug the solder iron in and let it get hot enough to melt the solder. Solder where you broke the ground, also check around the circuit to see that no more damage was done. replace the cover, remount using shorter screws, enjoy. Hope this was helpful..Rate this solution on the four thumbs-up. Good luck.....John

Tighten the door

Unplug the oven and remove the top/side cover. Check for loose screws on the hinge mounts, and examine the door carefully there to see just where the play is if the screws are tight. There's a high probability it's due to worn pivot bushings. I haven't yet taken a door apart to fix this problem (although I need to do it on my 30-year old Panasonic unit), so I'm not prepared to describe how to do that. Depending on how it's put together, you may be able to loosen the screws, adjust the door so it fits better, then tighten the screws again.

Baffles broke in front loading washer

You will need the screws to hold them in and unfortunatly to do them you have to split the 2 drums apart unless you can see where the screws mount on the new baffles, but usually they screw in from the outer side of the inner drum. A lot of work for such a small part.

Sigma 2x tele converter is loose

I had an issue with my Sigma 1.4X TC where it became loose after several years of use. I fixed min as follows:

On the camera-mount side (where TC attaches to camera) I removed the tiny four screws. Then I very carefully lifted up the metal mount being careful not to damage the ribon cable which is attached to it. I DID NOT complete remove it, I just tilted it up so as not to damage the cable. I then tightened the 3 screws that I found below that as all three were loose. I think that there may be four screws, but I could only see 3 of them without removing the plate further. after tightening the screws and replacing the metal plate and the four screws holding it, the mount was again tight and the attached lens functioned normally.

There are Allen set screws on each end of the handles (Top/bottom for the refrigerator doors, left/right for the freezer compartment.) These screws are accessed through small holes in the side of the handle with a 2.5 mm (3/32") Allen wrench. There are on the bottom side of the freezer handle as it's installed. There are also mounting brackets under the handle that can be tightened with a 1/4" Allen wrench with the handle completely removed.

For pictures of the handle hardware, see page 9 of the manual for the LFX25975SW. This is page 10 of the pdf here: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals/2228/LG-Bottom-Mount-Refrigerator-L0906255 . This link should display in your browser.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(Allen wrenches (Hex keys) are L-shaped tools with a hexagonal design where it contacts the screw head. You'll need the long side to get into the holes. Do not overtighten the screws - this can strip the threads. Then you'd need to replace the entire handle unless you can work a new screw into the spot.)

Broke the pull cord. need to know how to take the top off to get to the inside pull cord

the plastic top the vented part has to come off eather screws hold it on or a flat screw driver will pry it off. Then you will see the mounting bolts that hold on the pull starter. Once off you will have access to pull cord.

How to replace Husqvarna 501763902 Antivibe Element?

Remove the four starter cover screws and remove the starter, remove the screw holding the chain catcher,p and remove it, remove the two screws top, rear r/h side holding a square orange plate and remove it, the vib mounts will now just pull out, two r/h side two l/h side, if they are tight grab with long nose pliers, once out just push replacements in, re assemble starter etc.

I am trying to change a headlight. I can't can not

The headlight assembly (1993 Grand Caravan) is held in place with three plastic "wing nuts" that rotate on the ball-end (front end) of the adjusting screws. One "adjusting screw" (the one on the bottom, inboard side) is not for adjusting, just for mounting. The other two adjusting screws take a torx T15 in the front end of the screw.
Removing the headlight assembly is somewhat of a trick - it seems like it takes a special tool to reach the "wing nut" and turm it 1/4 turn (90 degrees) CLOCKWISE (so the "wings" are vertical). When all three of these mounting "wing nuts" have the wings vertical, the headlight assembly just pulls forward and off these mounting nuts. Place the new assembly back over the "nuts", turn the 3 "wing nuts" another quarter turn, and the new unit is mounted. Probably not even a need to re-adjust the headlights, but you should check.
The PROBLEM, is that it appears to take a special tool to reach and turn these wing nuts without breaking them (yes, the old ones get brittle). I tried a socket (did not work), and then long needle-nose pliers (broke one wing nut), then a 1/2" open-end wrench (which at least worked). However, pushing the new assembly back over the wing nuts, I broke another wing nut. So, I broke 2 of the 6, and one was broken when I started.
Now I need to find replacements for these "wing nuts" ... any ideas where to get them?
Of course I can use some washers, some nuts to fit the fine-threaded adjustment screw, and some sort of bushing (maybe cut a short piece of rubber tubing to fit over the adjustment screw). Place double nuts (second nut to lock the first in place) and a washer, then the bushing onto the adjusting screw, then the headlamp assembly onto the bushing, then add another washer, and two more nuts (not too tight) to lock it onto the adjusting screw (which must still be free to rotate). Repeat for each of the 6 mounting points. I have not tried this yet, but ... it should work.

Fabricate a tool to turn the "wing nuts" using a piece of 3/8 inch ID tubing which you file or cut 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch notches on each side of a diameter line.

My roadtrip cobra cb won't talk with my midland gxt radios

What midland is it? if its a gmrs 2 way radio, like a walkie talkie, even tho it has 40 channels, it is not a CB. it transmits on a completely different band.

CB is in the 27mhz band, and gmrs is in the 462 MHZ band.

They will not talk to each other.
