My camera turns on but the screen in back no longer shows the photo area. It is just black. Also, I can't upload pictures directly from the camera onto the comupter.

Photos I uploaded are no longer available in my gallery. Each picture is blank (black) and says "Unable to load photo".

To which site are you uploading your images ? It may well be a problem with their software - contact their customer service department and enquire. If necessary, you can always upload the images again from your own backups.

Pictures that I have uploaded to Facebook have gone completely black on my camera display!

There is a software program called Card Recovery Pro that you can google to find the download. This will get the photo's off the memory card directly. If your PC or laptop does not have a built in card reader then you'll need to get one in order to use the software.

Camera's screen is black, but still takes pictures.

Think that you might have accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, try pressing the DISP button once with the camera turned on.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 cant upload photos!!

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

MY NIKON D50 SCREEN HAS THE WHITE AREAS OF PICTURES FLASH BLACK AND WHITE

This screen shows areas of the photo that are overexposed slightly.
It flashes them to help you.
You get to this screen by pressing the up or down arrows when displaying the pictures you have taken.

To change it just press the up arrow when the camera is showing the screen until you get a display without flashing.

Once you have done this the display will be steady.
If you get any other screen in future you may have accidently pressed the arrow again.
Just cycle thru the displays to get back to steady.

Lec screen flashing black areas when pictures are played back

Flashig areas show HIGH KEY or HIGHLIGHTS in image, these areas indicate where exposure compensation can be made. They also change to normal function on first magnification point.

Check the manual on highlights also good reading in the histogram section and you will start to understand about contrast and exposure.
Have FUN.
