The same problem can occur when first setting up the system. The system needs to be plugged into the wall in a very specific way, which involves plugging it in for a few seconds, unplugging it for a few second, then plugging it back in and starting it up. Check your user manual for the exact timing, it should be listed under the initial startup procedures.
