My washing machine gets a sud error often during the cycle. I have cleaned the drain as suggested

Vinegar does a great job of cutting suds and bubbles. I would put it in the detergent, softener, and bleach reservoirs and run a cycle. Then make sure you read the detergent amounts. It's easy to overdo detergent on a front-loader.

Duet washer , clean filter still get sud reading. Washes well without clothes. Wash with and without soap and did not put in clothes. The machine went throught the cycle with no problems. When you

do you get a lot of suds when you run it without soap and clothes ? if so put about a cup or 2 of vegetable oil into the washer and run a cycle . soap suds will adhere to the oil and it will help it to remove from washer . after you can run a clean cycle with bleach or white distilled vinegar.

Suds, and F35 keeps coming up when trying to wash!

I would put bleach in the detergent slot, run through each cycle. Then run the cycle again with just water. These are really touch when using detergent. Just a little bid of suds sets these things off.

I DONT KNOW IF THIS A PROBLEM FOR THIS WASHER

Your display was probably displaying "SUD". This is a Suds Detect error code. The following link explains the error and potential causes:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608687-sud_error

The number one cause of the error is from using too much, or the wrong type of detergent. You are required to High Efficiency (HE) detergent with these washers because the concentration is formulated for HE washers that use minimal amounts of water. Using the wrong type of detergent can also void any warranty you may have.

NOTE: HE detergent does not have a lot of suds, which often confuses consumers into thinking they aren't using enough detergent. With HE washers little to no suds if normal and preferred.

Secondary causes can come from something restricting the drainage system. Most notably, something lodged in the drain pump and/or drain hose(s). I've included a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump reservior if required.

Read through the link provided and let me know if you still have questions. I hope this helps you.

I have a HE5t kenmore elite front loading washer. It has done great for about 15 months. We were away for about 3 weeks, and since we have returned, I put in a load of clothes, and it tries to start...

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Dont' know where to add bleach alternative

yes clorox 2 or "dry type" bleach should be put in with the detergent. only liquid bleach will go into the bleach dispenser.
also be sure to use soap that is "HE" type or you will get too many suds and a washer that will smell from not rinsing out.

Detergent dispenser

As far as I am aware, there IS NO dispenser for bleach, you have to put bleach in drum before adding clothes and starting cycle. The far right compartment is only for "pre-wash" cycles, and if no pre-wash is selected, water will run through ALL compartments at the rinse stage..... Oshie
