There should be a yellow wire that is used for 12 volt power. the red is usually just switched power. I hope you are using a harness from metra or scosche for this install as cutting into a factory harness is not a good idea

TBC Batt fuse is draining battery after car set 24 hrs what is this fuse for

This fuse is for the body control module, so your draw is probably something controled by the bcm. Get a manusl, get a list, and eliminate them one by one until your draw is gone! Good luck, let me know if you need any more help!

Power locks and mirrors out. Driver power window out.

Your chevy uses two fuses for the system. The power lock actuators are on the 15 amp fuse inside the truck. The fuse for the switches (locks and mirrors) are under the hood. For 99 to 04 (I think those are the years) there is a TSB on replacing the 3 amp fuse under the hood with a 5 amp fuse because this is a well known problem of having these blow.

Your drivers side window is a different issue. If the rest are working your problem is in the motor or getting power to the motor. The wires that go from the body to the door often crack and break with the opening and closing of the door.

Wiring

The brown wire, according to the installation manual, is the "Mute Wire". Their instruction is:
"Connect to the terminal that is grounded when either the telephone rings or during conversation."

So this appears to only be necessary if you are also using a mobile phone with your system.

The orange/white wire is the "dimmer control" lead, which should be wired into the switch that turns your car lights on and off. This will probably allow your head unit to dim when you turn the car lights on (night time).

Hope this helps!

Unit won't turn on....

There are several surface mount fuses and the flexible pcb is also a suspect, don't attempt to repair this unit yourself unless you have experience if not you will end up doing more harm than good.
