Sorry for the delay, the PS3 is a pain iin the *** for a browser... It's a msi 785gm-P45. Custom PC, windows xp. The drivers disk for the mother board fails at installing the amd chip driver and sound drivers. It succeeds to install the ethernet drivers, but no internet connection is available still. Just replaced processor, hard drive, motherboard and video card. Video card driver's fail to install also. Formatted new drive and installed windows, got to windows and have been trying to install drivers, that's about as far as i've got.

Seems like a no go still. I dl them to usb via ps3, started out with the lan driver and still no results. Figured I could connect to the page and get the rest of them after getting the lan working but it still won't setup an internet connection. It should be automatic as far as finding the network card and connection right? I should be able to respond right away now, sorry this is dragging on.

Don't know if my replay came through - still no luck. Installed correct updated drivers for LAN but it won't access the internet or even find the network card still.

I am sorry that my responses are so delayed. I will take this issue up again tomorrow. The PS3 browser seems to not post my responses. It didn't work unfortunately.

SOURCE: audio driver

Hello here is a link to download the drivers for your motherboard
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2839

I searched Google using the error code you provided and found this problem to be very common. The most common solution was this: [quote] open device manager click "system devices" disable "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio" uninstall "UAA bus driver" make rescan devices (Note: Not all had this step. You may want to skip it.) install realtek driver the realtek driver includes the UAA driver too. Good luck

Hello! "no audio device is installed" is my

If there is no device in Device Manager and the correct driver does not install, you have a hardware failure. The sound portion of your laptop motherboard may be malfunctioning; probably is. As it is a notebook, installing a new sound card is not an option. You could have a new motherboard installed, but the cost of that starts approaching the cost of a new notebook. If you cannot live without sound, time to look at a replacement. These days, PCs are made to fail in about 2-3 years either by a failed motherboard or a failed hard drive. If you get past 3 years, you are lucky. Backup everything while you can. I use an external USB hard drive and the Free version of Macrium Reflect to make a disk image; that way, I save all of my data as well as software programs.

My acer has a blackscreen , will not boot up. A disk read error occured

Disk read error indicates your hard drive has failed. You will have to take it in for service to have a new hard drive installed, or perform the repair yourself.

I recently had an HDD stop spinning and lock up on me. I saved what data I could and purchased a new one. Within hours of installing it the same issue arose; I figured it was bad luck and had it replaced....

i think its not even your motherboard, first of all clean your PC with an air blower then replace the data cables which connect your hard drive to the motherboard.
also do replace the power supply.

Blue screen error occured when start os installation after create partition,

The blue screen during reformatting is not an issue with the motherboard. The issue is with the hard drive. Find or purchase a new hard drive and try to reinstall Windows on the new drive.

Error loading operating system

You have to re-install your Operating System. You have significantly changed the controllers of the mainboard (from ASUS to GIGABYTE) and therefore all of the device drivers and controllers etc that are loaded into your OS are for the ASUS board.

You can get away with no OS reinstall only if you change the same brand of mainbaord, even then its not always 100% compatible.

" Error loading operating system "

This is not an easy one. But to start, when you install an OS, you needed to delete the drive when you where at the install screen of windows, which you did not post which one. Then after you install an OS
you need to install the chiposet drivers for the motherboard so that it can work. Then the graph drivers, sound drivers, lan drivers. If you do not install the drivers for the hardware that is on the Mobo
windows will try and use generic drivers which are junk.

So you are going to download the drivers for all the things I said. Now when you try and install and you are at the screen that ask to install windows, look down and pick delete the partition than pick which ever letter it ask for and pick yes, now you will see to create new partition, just hit enter because
at the box on the bottom of screen has the full size of the hard drive in it, unless you need to make another partition. Now make sure that C- new raw -- is highlighted and hit enter to install windows to your hard drive, now you get- format NTFS , do not format quick.

This is the best way to install a OS on a clean hard drive. Hope you get it installed ok and all the drivers.

New hard drive not reconized, motherboard drivers

I had this problem on a computer recently. This particular motherboard may be needing the driver on the Windows XP SP2 disk. Your motherboard may have been made to use Microsoft SATA drivers. Othewise, there would have been a driver disk that came with the motherboard to let it see that SATA hard drive.
If it's a new hard drive, you have to reinstall the O/S so use a disk new enough to have SP2 included.

Can't Install Windows XP SP2

Judging from the age of your machine, it could be a bad CD drive, a bad motherboard, or the hard drive may have failed. I'd start with the basics and remove the side cover.
Check to see if the processor cooling fan is turning if it has one. Also check the fan in the power supply. Remove and re-seat the memory modules.
