Question about GPS
After reading a lot of reviews and blogs about these problems, I'm not sure there's a solution, other than either putting up with it, or getting a new one, and not a TomTom (says the reviewers). I would sure try to get my money back for the upgrade, since you can't even get it to download. The wrong exit is clearly a mistake in programming, and the update is the only way to correct it. Not sure why it would stop working when entering some addresses, and maybe an update would correct that if you could get it. Don't know if TomTom could send the update on a disk, but you might check with them. Check with their support site.
I read a lot of negative reviews with thie unit- I'd opt for a different brand next time.
