    Thanks for your response!!

Unfortunately, this is an internal fault as you might have observed. I would like for you to open unit and in the middle of the panel is the
T-CONN board, it has the LVDS cable going to it and the main board.
First try to wiggle the LVDS cable to make sure no loose connections.
Next disconnect LVDS from T-CONN board make sure to not let the cable
touch any metal turn set on and see if screen's is still bad. If so the
panel is faulty if it is OK LVDS or main board or T-CONN issue. So let's
hope it's the CABLE, LVDS is loose. If you isolate inside the unit you
may find your problem much quicker.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a 2 year old LG LCD TV (model 42LG60) and I am having problems with the screen. I turn it on and everything is fine for a few minutes and then the screen goes to red or green lines that are fuzzy....

Not really a solution, sorry, but I've got the very same problem. I haven't noticed the time before tv faults, but nontheless, it greenscreens or like in your case, redscreens as well. I've been told to open the back, which I did to check the status of the capicitors, which I've done. But, the capacitors "seem" fine. No bulging or popped tops. So, I'm at a stand still...not sure what to do at this point. If someone gives you solution, I sure would appreciate your forwarding it on to me. Thanks. Robert

Can't take pictures.

try zooming in on a object and see it it get clearer. the problem is your zoom lens motor is stuck or malfunctioning. This is a very common problem with digital cameras. sometimes you can take compressed air and blow around the lens and clear the blockage or lightly tap the camera lens down with it off to free up the focus gear. if it does now work it then needs tobe serviced or repaired. I had the same model last week for the same problem. That lens had tobe replaced. but try that first and see if it helps.

Le40m86bdx picture not sharp

I have a two and a half month old Sharp, LC-19SK24U-W. It was fantastic with fantasic, clear, beautifully colored picture until two weeks ago. All of a sudden, the picture starting getting darker and darker. Nothing had been adjusted from day one when I set up contrast, etc. This comes and goes but most of the time is an issue. I can make it a bit lighter but then it is so fuzzy and grainy it is a very poor picture. Also, while this began, one time the television turned itself off and then back on without a power surger or anything.

HELP!

Fuzzy and stripes

The problem is the shutter mechanism. Aside from the Lens Error, this is the second most common problem with these. The lens will need to be replaced. I typically find a good used one, and replace them with that.

I would suggest to unplug the tv from the wall for about 15 minutes and then plug it back in,and turn it on,this should reset the microprocessor and realign the colors back to normal.let Us know how it goes and if you need more help.
