Question about Epson InkJet Printer

I have an Epson TX110 printer & hadn't used it for several weeks while I waited for a new cartridge to be sent. When I turned it on, the scanner head didn't move from the right hand ened but the belt appeared to be trying to move the scanner head to the left. This resulted in a loud rattling sound from the belt. I have turned it on & off several times but the problem remains. After the rattling stops (after a minute or so) all of the lights are flashing

    Only about 4 months. Unfortunatley I lost the receipt otherwise it would be a warranty claim.

    Unfortunately it was cash - I have been back to the store but they can't help. I'll try Epson themselves.

This is a major hardware problem with the printer. The belt has come out of alignment and most certainly the scanner head is now compromised for sure. How old is this unit?

    Yikes, did you buy it with a credit or debit card? They can use the statement from that for the receipt. Also since it's so new you can probably still file a claim with epson just based on the manufacture date being less than a year old. I bet you can still RMA it for sure with Epson, this is what you will want to do. Their number is 800-533-3731 if you need it.

    If it were me I could talk them into cooperating, since it has a manufacture date stamp... hopefully that stamp is at least within a year or less from today's date, correct? If they can't warranty it somehow, then let me know, but I would try and demand that they do. It can be repaired, not easily by yourself unless you are familiar with advanced printer repair... and even the parts alone are going to cost around the same price if not more than a new printer.



    Definitely try and get this warrantied. If you cant though let me know

Install epson stylus tx110 with out disk


Search the printer driver "epson stylus tx110 printer driver" in the google. Download the driver, run the application then follow the dialogue box. Turn on the printer and connect the printer usb wire to the computer using the usb port if it is ask in the dialogue box. Enjoy!

did you mix the standard capacity cart and high capacity cart?
Try using all the same capacity cart... but most of the time, it's the ink cart chipset that is faulty... regardless whether it;s new or used.. the chipset is a small eprom located at the bottom front of the ink cart..

How do you replace ink in EPSON TX110? Paul


The procedure is shown on the panel you can see if you open the cartridge compartment of your TX110. However, it can take some effort to decipher the icons. It is known to work if the ink low light is on, untested otherwise.

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the STOP button until the cartridge tray moves out of its bay. It will stop at the ink low notch pointing to the first cartridge out.
  3. Press STOP again. The cartridge tray will move to show you the next cartridge low on ink.
  4. Repeat until you know all cartridges out. After the last cartridge pointed to, the tray will move again and stop in the area where all cartridges can be accessed by hand.
That's it folks!
