Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

Why is my Tumble Drier keeps beeping without stopping a few minutes into the drying program?

It sounds like the carbon brushes are probably worn down - they ride on the drum (in the top ) and determine the amount of moisture left in the clothes for drying - they connect to the drum and the metal bar inside the dryer - A wet clothing item conducts between the two giving the dryer an idea of how much moisture is left in the load - equal to how much time / heat is needed to dry load as required. These brushes wear out and need to be replaced over time

Thor washer/dryer combo not drying properly. What is capacity of machine?

Whilst 'combos' will 'wash' a full load of clothes, they are not so good at 'drying' a full load. Since there must be a 'tumbling space' inside of the drum, into which the clothes can fall during the drying cycle.
In a 'nutshell' one 'wash load' equals 'two drying loads',
That's the price you pay for having a space saving 'combo' machine instead of having a 'washing AND a drying machine.
Add to that the fact that most 'combos' are 'condenser driers', as opposed to 'free flow outlet driers',
.
The consequence is that it takes far longer to 'wash and dry' a load of clothes in a 'combi' as oppose to two separate machines

You have checked a lot already ... thanks for the comlete story. Often the questions here hurt for detail.

Are your clothes getting hot?

Two reasons for not getting dry ...

No heat

No air.

You need warm air (heat and air) going through your drier to achieve dryness.

Sounds like you have no heat. Are you properly setup on the control panel (you selected heat)? You have physically inspected the entire exhaust sustem including the outside vent, hose and lint trap - absolutely clear ...

check the heat my friend

Electric drier takes 2 to 3 cycles to dry one normal size load

Have you tried cleaning the actual inside of the drier?
When you use drier sheets the wax on the sheets melts onto your clothes and makes them soft, but the wax often gets stuck in the holes of the drier making it incapable of drying the clothes in one load. Try scrubbing the inside of your drier with some hot water.

Dryer is slow to dry clothes, takes 2-3 cycles of 45-50 mins.

Check to see if there is a built up of lint in the exhaust.
Keeping the correct temperature at all times inside the dryer ensures that the clothes will dry efficiently. If clothes are not drying then inspect the door seal for signs that it may be worn or damaged.

A blower wheel that is not firmly attached to the drive motor can slip and therefore not move air fast enough to properly dry clothes or even reduce airflow to the point where the high limit thermostat may trip and turn off the heat circuit. A loose blower wheel will usually make a rumbling noise as well. Inspect the blower wheel to make sure that it is tight to the motor shaft.

Leb6200 wont completely dry clothes first time.

the problem is most likely an airflow problem. if you have a flexible duct connected to the back of the machine then replace it with a smooth rigid (not pvc) metal duct. clean inside the wall or wherever the air goes to get outside (must be smooth metal at least 4" in diameter) in the wall, without too many bends. the electrical arc you spoke of would not have an effect on the heating element unless the machine is not heating at all.

Dryer not drying

try taking a flashlight and look over the back of the drier see if the vent got mashed or is all coled up and stuff let me know also you can remove the vent from the back of the drier and run 1 load to see if it works normal if so then you know the vents the culprit.

Kenmore 80 series dryer...takes twice as long as it should to dry

no about all the time this kind of problem is caused by some kind of vent restriction start by looking over th back of the drier with a flash light and see if the vent is mashed folded over on its self or too long you only need enough to hook to the connector to the floor then go to the out side with the drier running and check to see if the drier hood attached to the house is opening i some have a plastic screen attached to the hood to keep critters out make sure that's clear rule is must have a 4" opening from drier to out side hood cant hang down under house and come back up as dryer will fill it with water over a peorid of time now easy way to verify vent restiction is to disconect vent run 1 load and see if it dries in proper time about 60 min
