Need help loading the correct drivers for Windows 2000. Unfortunately, my computer does not recognize the drive. -LD

- I am trying to get a OWC Mercury Elite external hard-drive to work on Windows XP. I've instaled the necessary firewire ports but it still does not recognize the drive. -LD

- can't load in manually or auto. when I plug in the usb it beeps as if it sees the drive, but nothing shows up anywhere? - goliath752

- I just bought a new HP desktop with Vista 64-bit. I plugged in the OWC Mercury Elite Pro external hard drive and the computer does not see it at all. I tried to manually add it, but I am unable to. I do not want to reformat this disk since it holds alot of data that I cannot afford to lose.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am going to need more information before I can help. Are you trying to install Windows 2000? Are you trying to install internal hardware, external hardware? What type of hardware is it? This information is needed for me to solve your problem.
