The heater would not start running when it gets pluged in only when the reset swich is pressed. Once pressed it will run for about 2-3 secs. and shut off. After 5 min. or so u could try again with the same outcome.

You need to remove the top cover and see if the glow bar is starting, it should glow orange and then ignite.

I have attached a link to a service manual;

R7184b just got oil reset wont reset tried main furnace reset same thing green light still keeps flashing any ideas????

if the reset is a square button see if this will work. hold the button in, the green light will go out, count to 30 by 1000s, (1001-1002-1003 etc.) at around 1030 the green light should flash once. when it does release the reset and wait about 10 sec. the pump should start. if it runs for about 15 sec. and shuts off the pump needs to be bled. good luck, hope this helps.

sequence of operation is just like the monitor. combustion blower comes on to purge chamber of fumes. after the delay, the solenoid pump comes on and deposits fuel to the burner mat, within 20 sec the igniter comes on, incandesces and ignites the fuel if there is no flame, the flame rod is supposed to shut down heater and go into a lockout condition until shut off or unplugged to reset. check solenoid pump first. you already know the igniter works. check the fuel filter in the fuel sump might be clogged. check the fuel sump float valve, might be stuck, supposed to hang free in the sump with needle valve open. thermostat is digital just starts and shuts down the burner and solenoid pump.
