Same here. 7 lights blinking. Called panasonic and they said its past the 1 year warranty. They wouldn't let me talk to anyone else. This seems to have been going on for quite some years. There has to be some
    Kind of class actions lawsuit.

How many blinks is the LED showing? The number of blinks correspond to a service code so that technicians can better diagnose the faulty component inside.
I'm doing factual research for a potential class action lawsuit regarding these "blinking lights of death" problems that the Panasonic plasmas are showing. I'd like to hear more about your experience. It's been a while since you've posted here. Have you contacted Panasonic? If you're willing to share your story with me, please email me at kiaeger@levjen.com.

Panasonic LED 42AS630D Power light is flashing.... the TV has no picture the remote control is not responding and the TV's front LED light is blinking...?

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Won't turn on no lights

Panasonic TV's will blink the power light to indicate which part of the tv is failing. If you don't get a blinking light at all, then you have a power supply problem.

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. The power switch is located on the lower left side of the display, right near the on indicator light. Check page 13 of the manual from this website. It shows exactly on the picture from that page.http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/TH42PZ85U.PDF
