How do you replace a 2005 pontiac vibe charcoal canister

Can't tell you where yours is exactly. But two spots that is most likely at. Under the car on the driver side, right behind the front tire mounted to the frame. Or on top of the fuel tank, You can see it, but have to drop the tank to get it out. I have never replaced one though. Fix them always. If the box is crack, I get a piece of plastic and silicone it on, over the crack. If the nipple broke off, I use a piece of copper tube, just a bigger than the hole. Heat it up, hot. Use pliers. Then insert it to the box and push the nipple on it at the same time. Do this quickly. Then smear silicone around the crack. keep the silicone close or you won't be able to get the hose connected back on.

How do I repair the plastic base on the bottom side of the projector? Plastic base cracked?

In many cases you can contact the projector manufacturer for replacement parts, The plastic (also known as the chassis) can sometimes be purchased separate. Although a crack should no effect the projectors operation unless it was dropped hard enough to cause a crack.

I removed my run capacitor from my Jenn Air Refrigerator Side by Side Model Number JCD2295KEP and when it was reinstalled a small piece of plastic broke off the Capacitor when I clipped it back to place. ...

If the case is not cracked it should be fine. There is a chemical in the capacitor that could leak out if the case and cause it not to work correctly.

1996 nissan maxima loses power when driving only in the rain. It has not shut off on me, but as I'm going 75 down the highway it loses power and studders so I pull off on the side of the road and turn it...

Your theory has some merit, but when this problem occurs, you should also see a "battery" warning light on your dash or a drop on your Volts gage (if our car is so-equipped). Another possible cause is something in the ignition/spark or fuel system. A cracked or ill-fitting distributor cap, an old, worn or cracked spark plug wire, or even a poor connection on your fuel pump could cause similar symptoms. When this happens, does your Check Engine light come on? If so, read the code stored in your onboard computer and look at the system that causes the code to set.

Cartridges will not engage

Check on the left hand side where the cartridge slides in there is a small swivelling retaining triangle of plastic that is lifted up by a thin plastic rod (hidden) when the front door is opened. if this triangle becomes detached from the hidden operating rod then that cartridge will not lock in. the problem appears to be on the right side but it is this left triangle causing the problem.

simply locate the small plastic triangle and attach a 6 inch piece of scellotape to the triangle so you lift it up to allow the cartridge to slide and lock in place. then give the scellotape a sharp tug and it will come free and the small locking triangle will drop down in place and the cartridge is locked.

Cracked screen

If the plastic cover is cracked but the LCD is fine, the fix is very different. In some ways it's actually harder than replacing the LCD, which is simply connected by a ribbon cable. One challenge for you is that, unlike the LCD, which is available as a replacement part (on Ebay - about $25), there is no direct replacement available for the plastic covering. You will need to pick up another 880 that is being sold for parts and then salvage the plastic screen from there. I'm not sure I can actually describe the replacement procedure to you without pictures but here is the general idea:

First, you need to open the remote so that you can work with the top half. To open the remote, do the following: remove the two screws - one in the battery compartment and one at the top of the remote. Then, using your thumbnail (this is really the best, unless you have a thin, rigid piece of plastic. A part of a credit-card may work), force your nail between the two halves of the ****-shell casing near the bottom of the remote on the left or right side. Once you get your nail (or plastic) into the remote, angle it down at about 45 degrees and simply slide your hand up one side. This will release all the locking tabs very nicely without marring the surface of the remote. Then do the same on the other side. Now, take the bottom of the remote that is holding the logic board and put it aside. You will only need to work on the top half of the ****-shell case. Ok, now looking at the face, there are 4 pieces of silver trim that are locking the plastic screen into the case, two on each side; the piece directly above the Mute button and the Prev button (they look like unmarked softkey buttons), and the two thin elongated pieces at the top on either side. To remove these pieces, you need to turn the top half of the casing over so that you are looking at the underneath at the area of these 4 trim pieces. If you look carefully, you can see that there are very tiny posts covered with glue that are holding in these pieces. You need to forcefully, but carefully scrape the glue off and try to push the trim pieces out from the back. Try to do this is carefully as possible, since the surrounding plastic is delicate. Once you pop these pieces off, turn the top half back right-side up. Now the only thing holding the screen down is a kind of rubber cement around the perimeter. To remove your cracked screen, you can pull it off from the bottom without worrying too much. However, be very careful when trying to get your replacement screen off of the salvage remote! The screen must be pried up gently and slowly from the bottom. If you use too much force, you risk cracking the screen as you pry it up. If you wind up scraping some of the black paint on the screen's perimeter, you can use a permenent marker to color it. Back on your good remote, remove as much of the cement as you can and lay down some double-stick tape (a glue stick may work also) and lay the new screen down so it is aligned perfectly in the space. Then attach the trim pieces and use some epoxy on the underside to affix them in place. Re-assemble your remote and it should be as good as new. Good Luck!

RITA BELLA CRIBS

I have a similar crib by Rita Bella. This is what worked for me.

1. Remove drawer.
2. Face crib's drop-side.
3. On left side of crib (based on you facing the drop-side) locate two allen head screws close to you. Unscrew them. A piece of wood in the front will drop. This is normal.
4. Push left side of crib outward (about 1/4") until you can see the metal pin that controls the locking function of the drop-side. It is near the bottom.
5. Pull out the bottom part of the drop-side so it's not in the plastic groove area anymore. This should get the right side out as well.
6. Tilt the drop-side -- the bottom part should swing toward you. When it is completely tilted, you will see the wooden groove in the side of the crib, and you can then remove the drop-side pretty easily.
7. Replace the screws. You may need an extra pair of hands to get all the parts in place.
8. Replace the drawer.
