Where can i download a config utility for my D-LINK AIRPLUS DWL-G510 ADAPTER

Here is the site for the driver.
http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=DWL-G510&rev=DWL-G510

Dlink does not have a configuration utility for this device, so it may be that there was not one offered. Instead you can use the zero configuration utility with Windows XP.

It also states that this device has been discontinued; the driver is the 1st release driver and has not been updated.

select the DWL-G510 driver to download it, or if you have the h/w rev.2 click the FAQ and select the option for a missing "wlanapi.dll" file. There is an updated driver for this revision on the link to that FAQ resolution. For ease of use it is here:
http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=DWL-G510&rev=DWL-G510_revB

Good luck and I hope this helps.

D-Link WDA-1320 cannot find apsSearchInterface in wlanapi.dll

Hi,
There is only one best solution: Take your Windows Vista DVD and throw it in the nearest trash can available. Vista was Microsofts biggest failure to date and has been replaced by Windows 7 which is far more stable. Save yourself lots of future headaches and get rid of Vista.
Best wishes,
Graemevm

When my ocmputer starts up i get this wlanapi.dll thing

You could ignore it...or go to Start, Run, type "msconfig"

go to the Startup tab and look for the one that says "wlanapi.dll" and uncheck it.

restart the computer and a box will come up saying you changed stuff, check the box and it will never appear again.

Entry point apsCreate MIB could not be located in the dynamic link wlanapi.dll

I don't see a question but I assume you are getting this message from your OS when you boot the computer. Uninstall the device shut down the computer and reboot then reinstall the device. This should reload the .dll file that is causing you problems.

I have a error each time i start my computer it said.. the procedure entry point apsGetinterface count could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.

this is a wireless lan or router program.. install the program by disable antivirus on your system. Sometimes the program cannot copy to the system due to virus signature of it might your antivirus that file a virus then he remove it automatically. Run the setup on you router or wireless lan on it. Good luck!

DWL-G630 WinXP SP3

Hi everyone who upgraded to SP3 or Vista! I just wanted to let you know that I also encountered the same exact problem when upgrading another person's computer, and the answer to your question (which has already been suggested) is to get the updated driver directly from the manufacturer:
http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=3002&orig=1

Make sure you click on the driver for your EXACT model number. If you do not have internet connectivity at all on the affected computer, then dowload the driver's zip file to a portable USB memory stick (or CD, or DVD) on another computer and transfer it to the affected computer that way.

Next, unplug the D-Link.

Next, open the Zip file with the driver and run the setup.exe file. It will uninstall the existing installation first. Then you have to RE-click on the setup.exe file to reinstall the correct driver. If it asks you if you wan to use the Windows Zero Configuration Utility, tell it Yes.

This is absolutely the correct answer/solution. No guesswork involved.
