Question about Computers & Internet
Yes, and no. Generally if your system is running too slow, try clearing out your temporary files - in internet explorer, that's under tools > internet options > browser settings > delete > (click on temporary internet files)
Run disk cleanup and defrag your hard drive. (under my computer, right click on C:, properties, disk cleanup, then tools tab, defragment. Go into installed programs, remove programs you don't use- uninstall them. If cleaning up the space on your drive doesn't help, you can lower scanning sensitivity in McAfee to be a little less aggressive. Hardware wise, if you are running low on memory, you can consult your system manufacturer or documentation for your motherboard to see about purchasing and adding more memory to your system- which has the added benefit of increasing all-around performance
