Question about Printers & Copiers

I am trying to install my Lexmark X1190 to my new computer. I have inserted the DVD disks I was given with my Printer but an error has occured and it says the installation has failed. Can you help me please?

    I have followed the advice given to me as to 'try cleaning the disks'. I thought this may have been improving my situation until a message arose saying 'Error Copying file - LXBCLR3.DLL' and above this Severe. Please can anyone help this time? Thank you

Maybe your DVD rom cannot read the disk, try clean

Have bought new Hewlett Packard computer Model #200-5220. Tried to install a Lexmark X2330 printer. Went into control panel ''install a printer' - highlighted Lexmark, but in the next column the model...


Disconnect the printer from the computer. Insert the driver disk that came with the printer into the CD/DVD player of the computer. Follow the prompts and install the software for the Lexmark. When it is finished installing, connect the usb cable to the computer and try printing a test document.

If you do not have the disk that came with the Lexmark, go to the manufacturers website at www.lexmark.com and click on support. Then find the download software/driver option and enter your model of printer. Then follow the prompts to download the file to your computer and install it. when it is finished installing, connect the printers usb cord to the computer and try printing a test document.

Some drivers do not come with your operating system and need to be installed before your printer is connected. Once the drivers are loaded the pc will automatically recognize the printer once connected.

les impriments lexmark ne sont pas equipees d un compteur, le comptage se fait avec une formule mathematique programmee dans la logique de controle, tu peut remettre a zero en installant de nouveau le driver.

I've installed Microsoft Windows 7 and and now I can't install my Lexmark X1190. What ca I do?


Unplug the Lexmark printer from your computer. Uninstall any existing Lexmark X1190 driver from your computer by going to the Start menu ? Programs ? Lexmark X1100 Series ? Tools ? Uninstall. Reboot pc when prompted.
When your computer turns on, check the System Type if it's 32-bit or 64-bit by going to the Start menu ? right-click on Computer ? Properties. Take note of the System Type.
Use Vista driver in Windows 7. Click on the links below to download the Lexmark X1190 from the Lexmark website.

Download, execute the file and follow the instructions in the software. Thanks.

I suggest not to plug the printer to your computer yet. Check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on the Windows logo Start button > right click on Computer > Properties. Now, there's no Lexmark X1190 driver specific for Windows 7, however, the Vista drivers work. Download the software using this link: http://bit.ly/bKDAsg (for 32-bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/a8i081 (for 64-bit). Install the software. Follow the instructions on the software. Hope this helps.

I suggest not to plug the printer to your computer yet. Download and install the software first. Here's the link to the Lexmark website for the available Lexmark X1190 drivers. http://bit.ly/dAPeVf. Click on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown found below the page to choose the version of the operating system of your computer. Then download and install the software. I have a lexmrak x1190 printer and it will not communicate with my new laptop which uses vista the software is correctly installed please help


You need to get x1190 drivers for vista and install in on your computer. It is availble at the manufacturers site under "support ...." etc good luck..

Printer was printing only in black, bought new color cartridge and installed as always and tried to print a test page , got a cartridge error message: 50c (i believe) tried all suggestions given in home...


Are you using the right cartridge?
Are the cartridge inserted in the correct way?
Take out the cartridges - Turn off the printer - Turn on the printer - Insert the cartridges again
