This machine does is NOT a vacuum and does not **** up water. It's a shampooer/polisher. If used properly, with the correct solution of Turbo Shampoo to water, the carpet dries in usually no more than 2 hours. If you need a copy of the user's manual, go to the following site, "Current Models", find "Floor Pro", and download manual.

Steam won't come out Shark steam mop

I found mine to to becaused by hard water deposits. Our tape water has all kinds of minerals in it. & after time the jets get plugged solid with white calcium scale. hard as a rock. Best solution is to disassemble & hone each jet hole. It dose take some time, but that will work. & for now on use distilled water or at least filtered is better than nothing. Hope this helps?

I release the water, but the water dose not **** up

You do not say which model you have. In most cases lack of pick up is due to the lid not being firmly seated on the dirty water tank. If this is an F5800 or F5900 series steamvac, another possibility is that the front duct is missing from the tank. The duct slides into the front of the tank, and is removed to use the hose. If it is missing there will be no pick-up. A less common problem is that the large round rubber seal that the tank sits on is missing. If you look at the bottom of the dirty water tank, you will see a round tube, open at the bottom. This opening sits against the seal on the motor cover when the tank is in place. Look in the area where the tank sits, and be sure the seal has not fallen off the motor cover.

Does it matter what kind of cleaner I use on the Deep Cleaner Model F5821

Yes it does matter which cleaning solution that you use in your steam cleaner. If you use the wrong cleaning solution it may cause problems with the cleaning solution dispensary system. Different steam cleaners use different cleaning solutions. You should always use the steam cleaner solution for your specific cleaner. I have learned this the hard (and expensive) way.

Hard to recommend this but it will work in a pinch. You can use a small amount of liquid laundry detergent diluted with hot water (about 2 table spoons to a gallon) as a stand in for the real deal. DO NOT put the laundry soap solution into the cleaning solution reservoir (the wax content will clog the soap dispensary system). Lightly apply to the area to be shampooed (do not soak). I have used a plastic coffee can with holes poked in the lid like a watering can to apply the soap solution. Use the shampooer to do the scrubbing and remove soapy water from the shampooed area. Fill your soap reservoir with clean hot water. The laundry soap does most of its job during the rinse. Go over the shampooed area with the shampooer moderately soaking the shampooed area to with the hot rinse water. Remove as much of the rinse water as possible. Liquid laundry soap has a high wax content (makes your cloths soft) and if it is not rinsed thoroughly after it is dry the remaining wax will attract dirt faster than the surrounding areas. Other than that it works for a good stand in for the proper detergent in a pinch. As a bonus it smells great.

From what I understand as unorthodox as it is, it works well in small doses, and I don't believe that it causes any damage to the other parts of the steam cleaner as steam cleaners survive drawing up worse things into them than laundry soap.

I hope that you find this helpful

Good Luck!

I have a dirt devil easy steamer deep cleaner that is a few years old but only used once or twice. I am currently trying to use it and when the unit is suctioning I hear a popping sound and then I lose...

I have always bought dirt devils and this last on that I got is bad it dose not clean by the base boards like the others it dose not pickup stuff from the floor like the others, when you add one of the attachments to it that takes away from the sucking power and that power brush is a joke. I used it twice and it broke. I am not happy with this one at all.I have thought real hard about changing to a differant brand.I don't know what happened but something has to change.
thank you for your time atti

Not putting out water

I had the same problem with mine and it was an easy fix. If you remove the soap holder without putting the selector dial to "water only" you will lose the prime in the hose that goes to the water chamber. It takes a few minutes of pulling the water trigger to regain that prime, but it will come back eventually. Easiest fix, of course, is to always remember to dial to water only when you need to add cleaning solution..

Carpet cleaner not doing too well

there is a dial on the side of the housing move this to tools this diverts the suction from the floor nozzle to the hose,. .
the brush only rotates slowly.
If this dose not work check red lint filter, .this is in the back corner of the tank lid ,
On the turbo brush there is a sliding swicth ,this diverts the suction from the nozzle of the attachment to the attachments brush

Water and clearen not coming out.

If the modle is an old modle the heater could be blocked,or if it a new modle try taking of the of the handle and ad a small shim to the bottom of the handle plunger to make it a little bit longer ,the plunger might not be reaching the valve,
also unscrew the clear cap which which is on top of the red spinner to see if the white filter under the spinner is clean and free from debris.
when you put the cap back on make sure its not to thigt and the spinner move freely, if the suction is poor make sure the red lint filter in the clean water tank is clean
