Check your drive shaft for debris or other items that could jam. These automatic pool cleaners will become disabled if something sticks there. You will also want to check your debris bags to make sure that you do not have a clog that would prevent proper water flow and movement.

Hi! My RoboKleen is running and moving, but not vacuuming. Do I need to check the impeller? If so, how do I do that? My manual doesn't have a parts diagram. Jane

I would check the impeller for obstructions. To check it, remove the top grill off by removing the 2 screws from the top. Make sure the transformer is unplugged first. You should see the impeller when you remove the grill. Remove any debris and just put the pool cleaners grill back into place and rescrew. I would also empty your debris bag. It could be filled and causing a lack of suction. Check for debris in the cleaners throat.

I have a Pool Hog pool cleaner that came with my house. I am wondering how good they really are as they seem to be very cheap in price compared to other. I also don't have the electric voltage transformer...

Best just use it to ***** and get the most out of it. For the transformer, you'll need to know the output required [volts and amps] and polarity. You should have no trouble finding a generic transformer to do the job

Hi, we have a Zodiac pool creepy crawly pool cleaner which seems to work for a while, then get stuck in the one spot and not move in our inground pool.

With these pool cleaners, getting stuck in one spot is most likely the result of a waterflow problem. Check your water flow valve and make sure that it is adjusted correctly. make sure that you don't have any blockage that would prevent movement and cause the cleaner to stick in one place. This might seem like common sense, but make sure that you have enough hose to reach the entire pool. Many times, when this occurs, the cleaner cannot reach one part of the pool. make sure that your hose balance is correct also.

The cleaner doesn't move. when I plug it in it comes on, the vacuuming starts but nothing else happens. the pool remains in one place, does not move.

If it is not working, it is likely a problem with the impeller being jammed or an obstruction being in your drive shaft. Try checking both of these places for jammed leaves, etc. This is a common problem with these pool cleaners.

Where the filter screen / hose connection attaches to the wall of the pool there is a lot of water pressure coming out of the black cap.I have replaced with new ( very expensive ) but same problem is...

Make sure that the blue restrictor disk in in place to decrease water flow. That is a common problem with these pool cleaners. If that still isn't enough, you cleaner should have also come with a red restrictor disk that limits water flow even more. You could also try unscrewing the pressure valve to decrease RPMs and pressure.

My Pentair legend pool cleaner is not moving

On this automatic pool cleaner, this is usually an easy thing to fix. First, make sure that your filter bag is clean and free of obstructions. Next, take of your head float and shake it. If you can hear water inside, you will need to order a new head float and install it. They are usually inexpensive and easy to replace. Make sure the hose floats are evenly placed and make sure that the cleaner is not getting too much pressure from the return lines.

Jandy pool cleaner will not move around pool

First, check your finger screen and energy filter. If they are dirty on these automatic pool cleaners, this can cause the unit to not move. Clean them if necessary. Next, check to make sure that the backup hydro-timer is not releasing most of the water out of the discharge hole. If it is, the unit will not move properly and you will need to replace the defective jet gear assembly. Finally, check to make sure that the transporter jet is not plugged up and that the debris chambe is not full.
