PixmaiP4000 Pictures are printing too yellow and pinkish, instead of green grass and blue clothing. All cartridges are brand new and installed correctly. I have printed 7 pictures and all look the same.

Hello,

I will advice you Press and hold the "Resume" button on the printer. Press and hold the "Power" button while holding down "Resume."
Release the "Resume" button. Press "Resume" twice. The indicator light will turn amber followed by green.
Release the "Power" button. Press the "Resume" button four times.
Press the "Power" button. The printer is now reset, and your printer should work fine.

Take care.

HI, when printing in colour the blue appears as partially green

Usually this happens in inkjet, when you have a mix of the colors int he cartridge.
so, inkject usually have 3 colors, Blue, Yellow, Red.
If yellow color finds it's way towards blue, then instead of blue, you will see green.

Solution: change cartridge.

Pixma ip4000 prints blue instead of green

The fault could be -
The yellow cartridge is empty
or
The yellow ink nozzles are blocked
Because green is made up with blue and yellow colors.

Whenever I try to print anything w/color, the yellow in the inkjet cartridge does not come out--instead of the color green it comes out blue or instead of the color red it comes out pink. I put in a brand...

Could be the communication between the printer and the computer...(operating system or driver) or, it could be the ribbon cable that connects to the print head. or, it could be the connection where the cartridge connects to the printer, may be dirty. Get some long Q-tips and some alcohol and get in there and clean it. (don't clean up any necessary white grease that keeps it lubricated though)

Yellow is missing in printouts, and the color is heavily purple, even after putting in new red cartridge and doing a deep clean

Yellow cartridge is clogged or bad. If yellow is not being out put then it will throw the other colors off. You could print a yellow, light blue, magenta (pinkish) , and black squares using MS paint or other paint program. This will narrow down which cartridge has a problem.

Pictures coming out green

On a picture that you have printed, when you see an area of green, what color should it be? You probably have reduced flow of one of the "balancing" colors. Blue, Yellow and Red add up to Black. If your picture is supposed to be almost black and you don't have enough red, the color will pull toward the blue and yellow, giving it a green tint.

C88 only green and yellow

You are out of black and magenta (tricolor cartridge) ink or ink has dried up.
Try touching the nozzle plate (underneath print cartridge) with a water dampened cloth (not alcohol) for cleaning clogged nozzles (do not rub).
Ultimate remedy : put in contact nozzle plate with hot water for about 5 seconds.
If color still missing your printer need new cartridges.
