Saecco Taleo Touch Espresso Machine

I have purchased the Saecco Taleo Touch Machine in April.. I find when I am making the coffee once it has brewed in the ceramic cup it is not warm. Why is this happening? The temperature is set to high... I am using distilled water at room temperature. I have even allowed the machine to warm up for 60 minutes and still the same results. Please help me out.

Make sure you preheat the cups, as that can make the world of diffrence.
if that dont help send it in to a offical Saeco repair station for upgrading of the software, or change of termostat or boiler.

Hi there, I just purchased a Jura S9 One Touch. I've used it for a week, maybe making 10 coffees/day. Just yesterday an ERROR 6 message popped up. I don't know what to do, please help?

Hi, Error 6. Haven't come accross that one before. It sounds like brew unit problem.I do know error 7&8 are brew unit problems and 1 to 5 are water flow and heating errors. Try turning off the machine at the main power button and unplug it from the wall for a few minutes. This will reset the machine and right it self. They can do this from time to time. Dazza

Hi , I have a Saeco Taleo coffee machine and have problems with brewing. The coffee get ground and then the brewing fails . Anu tips on what I need to look for ? Thanks Christina

Follow the below procedure to troubleshoot your Saeco Taleo coffee machine.

You go with the visual check first. Check on the electric cords, switches, timers, fuses, thermostats and heating elements to see if there are any damages components.
If there are some damages that are visible visually, get it replaced or repair it, if not, then you would have to dissemble the coffee maker to assess the thermal fuse.
Unplug the unit from the electrical receptacle.
Remove the carafe and filter basket. Also remove the water reservoir lid
Turn the coffee maker over and remove the screws that secure the case. Remove the case.
Take a look at the control cavity and assess. If it is a a case of disconnected wire, debris etc. simple fix, reassemble and test. If it is not so, continue to the step 7.
Use a multi-meter to test the warming and heating elements, the switch, thermostats and timer.
For any parts that is defective, work out the costing and if it worth the while, replace it.
Reassemble the appliance and reinstall the carafe and basket.
Top up the water reservoir to 50%, then test it by turning on the coffee maker.

The problem should be solve with the above troubleshooting.

Take care.

Saeco taleo grounds are very wet - almost fluid! this hase started recently when i changed my beans. i have changed the grind to course but with no effect. any ideas?

Try adjusting the amount of coffee and then the grind to finer. If there is not enough coffee in the chamber then it gets over extracted and you get a soupy puck at discharge, if the grind is too coarse, you might also get the same result. Think of your coffee grind as rocks and sand and that will give you a better feel for the proper setting for your machine.
