Question about Washing Machines
What does f7 fault code on a bauknecht WA8988 washing machine mean?
Have had the same thing twice now (Bauknecht WA8988 with F7). Both times worn Carbon brushes were the cause. Guess the arcing of the worn Brush causes the electronics to fault. Maybe it is also an indication for Bauknecht that the brush(es) are worn, I don't know. But in any case, would check that out first for ANY of the 'F' faults myself...

Had the same problem myslef yesterday. Have rung whirlpool this morning and they advise that the code F7 refers to a short circuit.
