Question about Nikon D70s Digital Camera
Of course the camera is telling you to format the card... you know that, right, but you don't want to because (a) it is already correctly formatted and (b) this warning happens when you are half way thru shooting.
Try another card that you know to be good. Format it in the camera and use it. Does it work now?
Do this: 1. Get all the images off your old card and on to your computer. 2. Reformat the card on your computer. 2 a. If you have Lexar Image rescue, use this to reformat and test your card. 3. Reset the camera using the combination of recessed buttons as described in the manual. 4. Insert the card, turn the camera on and reformat it again in the camera. If the problem persists you probably have a camera fault and it needs servicing.

The camera is telling you to format the card. You can do this in the cameras playback menu. That should take care of the problem.
