Tune Transfer will not uninstall from master computer even after uninstalling, or attempting to uninstall from both the CD and from Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. Error message received is (5009:0X80028026), which I can't find listed anywhere. System is XP with all updates installed. I have tried using the Fix on the Valusoft.com Website without success. I know I need to upgrade to Tune Tools, but can't because Tune Transfer will not uninstall.

SOURCE: I can't uninstall the RCA easyrip software

How long has it been since you installed it? If recently try this option (system restore) will take you back to before you installed it. Start/all programs/system tools/system restore. A screen will pop up and should give you a calender of events. You want to check the day before you installed the software and it will restore your computer programs back to that day. (you will not loose file/music etc) only computer programs will be lost that were installed after that day and you will need to resinstall if any. This my take 5-10 minutes depending on your pc. It will tell you its complete but do not disrupt the process once its started.

Hanging & do not come up

Hi

Try the mention below option to resolve you problem.

1: Click Start > run. Type msconfig. Check Selective Mode and click the "startup" tab. Uncheck everything which is not essential. Leave only antimalware programs (if you change your mind latter you can reactivate those programs). Confirm and reboot. Upon rebooting a message will show up. Please check it and continue. For laptop users: do not uncheck items that clearly relate to the operation of the computer.

2: In Add/Remove programs, in Control Panel, uninstall all unnecessary toolbars such as Yahoo, google and others. Latter on you can download them again.

3: If you have Internet Explorer 7 installed as a windows update, uninstall it in add/remove programs in control panel. This will roll you back to internet explorer 6. Latter on you can download it again as a Windows Update.

4: Go to Task Manager and report processes that seem to be loading the computer. Please ignore Idle Processes.

5: Download HD Tune and under Benchmarking run a complete performance test. Please report Average data transfer for the entire test.

6: Go to Device Manager, expand IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. Right click the Primary IDE channel and choose to uninstall it. Reboot and let Windows reload the driver. Repeat the procedure with Secondary IDE channel.

7: Following step no. 2 run HD Tune again and report the results as you did in step no. 1.

My microsoft office 2007 is not working

Prepare your CD with key. Then you uninstall your Microsoft office first by going to the Control Panel and then by clicking on the add/remove programs. Then click uninstall Microsoft Office. I am recommending this because I know that repairing it would take longer than installing a fresh one. Then after you successfully have uninstalled it, you insert the CD and open setup. You can find the serial as included in the CD in .txt form. You just copy it and enter it when prompted and wait 'til the setup finishes. Easy as 1-2-3! I am not so savvy about computers but I've done it very easily. If you want more information or if you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll do my best to help you.

Unable to install a new powerdvd version

I imagine that it's trying to uninstall the older version to install the newer one, which it can't. NOTE: This is a desperate step. Delete the Cyberlink folder in C:\Program Files\; Go to Add/Remove Programs and attempt uninstall - it will say it can't uninstall, and ask you if oyu want to remove it from the program list. Click yes. Go to start->Search (or Find) and search for Cyberlink (make sure that Hidden and System files are being searched). Delete all Cyberlink files. Do the same, but with PowerDVD. Download and run CCleaner. Attempt to reinstall PowerDVD.
