Hi,

Please follow these steps to wipe clean all the stored information on the phone:

The following procedure erases the Caller ID list and user programmed messages.
Date, Time, Time Mode, Date Format, and DST are retained.

1. Press SELECT; press UP to find ERASE MEMORY in the Menu.
2. Press SELECT again. ERASE ALL? appears.
3. Press SELECT key to confirm.
4. The word ERASED appears, and then the InfoGlobe returns to Standby Mode.

You mentioned that you have purchased the phone at a yard sale and you require an instruction booklet.
Please visit this link and you will be able to download the same for your reference.

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this solution.
Thank you.

Hello.

Voicemail messages are not stored on the phone, but on your provider's system.

But, give this a try:

To Erase All Memories:

1. Press SELECT; press UP to find ERASE MEMORY in the Menu.
2. Press SELECT again. ERASE ALL? appears.
3. Press SELECT key to confirm.
4. The word ERASED appears, and then the InfoGlobe returns to Standby Mode.

If still a problem, contact your telephone provider.

Hope this helps.

    Hello, again.

Here's the link for Adobe Reader. Download and install.

But, I suspect that the manual will not help. You may have a hardware problem.

Hello there

There should be a reset button under the phone, try pressing it down with a tack or pin for 5-10 seconds, this will wipe off all data stored on the phone..

Hello,

I will advice you try reset the unit, once the unit is reset, the problem should be fix. Follow this steps to reset the unit,

Turn off the phone, remove the AC adapter, press and hold the page/call button that is on the phone and plug back your Ac adapter, this will fix the problem.

Take care.

    Hello,

Have you try to reset it? If no, Just try to reset it to factory settings.

Remove the AC Adapter from the AC power (either at the base or at the
wall outlet) and immediately connect it again. Remove battery from the handset and immediately replace it. Place the
handset back into the charger for about 5 seconds.

Light flickering on infoglobe

When it is flickering, can you still read it? Mine didn't flicker. Maybe it just needs new batteries. I did find that mine had trouble working once I switched over to AT&T Uverse internet/phone service.

Olympia, and/or Sharper Image infoglobe. Need fix.

It appears that you have already removed the 4 screws. The globe will not just fall off, it has to be pried. Take a small- bladed screwdriver or a small-bladed pocket knife and gently pry from any small opening you see between the globe and its base. Work the blade around the globe and it will come off. I just did it and now I'm trying to figure out how to get inside the "guts" of the globe. Will keep you advised.
