Just clearing out my work queue
Insert Your USB Pin or Jump drive into the computer. Boot from windows CD as if your going to re-install it.
Once it loads and has the option to hit ENTER to creat windows, hit ENTER and when it shows the partitioned drives on your system, it should show your Hard drive and then it should show the PIN/Jump drive as a " Un-Partitioned space"
Select the option to creat partition on the jump drive and then F3 out of the windows installation after it creates the partition on the jump drive.
reboot and once in windows it should show up as a removable storage in the MY COMPUTER along with your other drives.
Right click and select " FORMAT" and once thats done it should allow you to use it.

1.) Does your computer recognize the the US Pen Drive when it is inserted in a USB port,
2.) Is your device a memory card on what looks like a pen drive.and does your memory stick show up as a removable drive in Windows Explorer.
3.) Ae you using Windows 98? or is your Operating System a newer one such a Windows 2000 or XP/Vista.
4.) Are using Linux and which version and which type.are you suing?
