You can hard reset the phone (factory settings)

"power off - hold 3, green call and * - power on while holding"

Please note this will format all the saved information stored in phone memory.

2.Once on the music screen, click blackberry symbol button

Constant black screen on my galaxy S GTI9000

Solution-no but pretend that you are trying to get the phone right for the first time. Take the manual in your hand and do what you have to do to change the screen colour.
I do not know the prosydure by heart soI leave it to you.

You can ask the phone shop to send it of for repair. It may cost around ?50 to get fixed. R u can go to a shop that unlocks phone and They maybe able to fix it there. so it wouldn't have to get it send off For repair.

I always get a white screen. some said it was because of the flex cable. so i search for it on the internet. then i found some flex cable for the screen and another flex cable for the keypad. so my problem...

Hi, the problem you are having is with the data ribbon between the screen and the circuit board so you only need to replace the data ribbon for the screen, once you have replaced this your phone should be working once this is replaced, make sure you dont damage anything whilst doing this as the connections can be a bit dodgy,

let me know if you need further assistance ok

When i make or get call I can hear them but they can't hear me. I get this yellow swiggly object on my screen.

Hi,

There is some problem with your phone mic only.please use your headset to check it.Connect your headset and answer phone with your headset. If the person don other side hear you then the problem is with the mic only. Please take the mobile to NOKIA CARE centre and they will repair the mic.

The yellow colour swiggly object which comes next to the battery bar is nothing unusual. It shows that your call is been connected with the person on other side. This symbol will not appear when the other person's phone is ringing,When the person picks up the phone this yellow colour symbol will apear.]

Thank You

Hello,

The problem with your phone is just flex problem, the flex on the screen of your phone is weak or worn out, this is a common problem among slide or flip phone.

What you need to do is to replace the flex on the screen of your phone, you can get this done by going to any local phone repairer within your vicinity to help get it fix or replace.

Once the flex is replace, your phone display problem is solve and the screen will start displaying.

Take care.

Music and camera not working

It may be just on silent.

On the 580i there is a shortcut to muting and unmuting the phone.

When you first open your phone (standby screen) press and hold the # (pound) button for about 2 seconds. When your phone is muted, you will see a music notes symbol with a red line thru it at the top of the screen next to the antenna bars.

This may fix your ringtone problems but I don't know about the camera.
