>when wireless keyboard or mouse runs out of battery, you need to re-establish the bluetooth connection in order for them to be functional again. To do so, you need to press the connect button on the keyboard and the USB dongle connected to the computer at the same time for about 8-10 seconds to establish connection. After that, you can try typing again. Same thing applies to wireless mouse.

My USB deal doesn't have a button on it. But when I removed the USB, pressed the connection button on my keyboard, and then re-inserted the USB while the keyboard was trying to connect, my keyboard started working again.

I used a PS/2 Keyboard and one day it stopped working. And I found out that when it's installed even the mouse doesn't work, so I bought a new USB keyboard though I can't enter the BIOS with it...

Hi, you maybe just need a driver for the mainboard.

You can download here:

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/driver.php?S_ID=363

Try the chipset driver first.
Please unzip the file before installation.
You maybe also need the driver for the usb controller.

Try to use a PS/2 mouse until the driver is installed.

My Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse just stopped working

If the mouse light is not turning ON even though you have new batteries and the mouse is turned on, then you need to contact the manufacturer for RMA.

Thank you!

My dell keyboard with blue tooth connection

If there is no light on the Bluetooth keyboard it means there is a problem with it.

If the Bluetooth keyboard is not responding try to do the following:

1. Change batteries
2. Go to control panel
3. Click Bluetooth Icon
4. Delete the Bluetooth Keyboard
5. Click on Add new wireless device
6. Press the pairing device on the keyboard
7. Bluetooth keyboard will be detected
8. Follow the onscreen instructions

Hope this helps, Tried it several times and it works perfectly

Problem with LOGITECH S 510 cordless keyboard and mouse..

Hello,

I have this same keyboard/mouse set and love/hate it when the batteries die. After you change the batteies, power on your pc, press & hold the connect button on the bottem of the keyboard first and then the connect button on the transmitter. Release them and wait for a few seconds. Repeat the same steps for the mouse.

When I have connection issue with this keyboard after new batteries, I have found most of the time the problem is the connection to the pc and/or batteries in wrong. Good Luck

Mouse not working

I opened the mouse and took the batteries out and double checked their placement and even though they were in correctly the first time, the mouse started working the second time.

Thanks for your response.

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
